What if mario galaxy gets 8.5 or less on gamespot?

Even with that taken into account, a high quality epic game with 50 hours of content vs a 2 hour minigame compilation? No contest.

I have warioware and it is great...for the first 3-4 hours, and then you either play it with friends around you or it becomes a coaster.

Yep you're totally right, furthermore I am really keen on this new opus of the Legend of Zelda (I've spent hours on French boards justifying my addiction, maybe i'll do that here to if the wish comes ! :D), and even if the game was designed as an "only for GameCube" game, the combo Nunchuck-Wiimote was really well used...

To conclude our nice and productive quarrel, I will say that maybe sites like GS only want to see the "innovation" aspect through the Wii, what could justify WWSM's rank... but that DEFINITELY NOT justifies Zelda TP's one ;) !

However, to get back to the subject, I fully agree with all of you : it just can't be that Mario Galaxy comes to a flop ! ;)

How can it be justified if warioware outsocred it? It logically cannot. Was warioware score justified in your opinion? Choose one or the other, either way gamespot cannot be trusted.

Gamespot gave TP one of the the lowest scores out of hundreds of major review sites and publications. That says something, and it has little to do with 'justification'.

I have finished the game twice, and no, 8.8 is not justified. 8/10 for gameplay? 7/10 for sound? HELL NO.

If the big three (metroid, galaxy, and brawl) all get below AAA, im leaving GS. Im serious. Most of their reviews are BS imo.Haziqonfire

would it be much worse than the sunshine review. I mean thats was AA and termed a flop wasn't it. What makes everyone so sure galaxy is a gaureenteed AAA. Don't sheep ever learn from the TP fiasco. It galaxy did flop than yea these forums would crazt for a day or so.

I don't think it will the game has been given some new ideas and don't forget that everyone wanted a Zelda game like Ocarina Of Time. Twilight Princess was ported from the Gamecube to the Wii and it wasn't gonna be a Wii game until Nintendo decided to put it on the Wii. It was just Ocarina Of Time which I will admit is a very good game but players expected it to be revoluionary. We saw the things from Twilight Princess in Ocarina Of Time. Mario Galaxy looks alot different to Mario 64 and looks fun and challengeing as well.

Has to be AAA... but if it wasn't.
