What if Xbox 720 is all about casual Kinect games?

As a gamer, I'll be getting the PS4 over the 720. Everyone knows MS won't be able to beat Sony games wise. 720 should be good for people that are interested in those types of games.

Well we know Balcktusk is working on a game directed at the core and evidence strongly suggests there will be PGR 5 coming soon, probably Nextbox launch title.

The Nexbox will be like the PS4 in how it caters to both. The PS4 is launching with two different Move games. Heck they showed 5 exclusive games at the Sony event and two of them were move games and one was the cartoon Knack game. The PS4 also comes with a camera and sensor controllers in every box and I am not sure if the Move controllers have to be bought separate. For a console to be successful it can not just appeal to only one group.

I am willing to bet that at least 90 percent of the games put out next gen are multiplat. Of the remaining ten percent, half of them will be franchises (i.e Halo or Killzone).

I'm already getting a PS4, I dont care what MS does at this point. Maybe I'll get their next console when 15+ exclusive games come out that dont require Kinect(lol) and aren't names Halo/Gears/forzaHeil68

I'd take Halo, Gears, and Forza over Killzone, Infamous, and Motorstorm any day. I'm still getting a PS4 though.

I'm pretty sure ms know what they are doing, i do not see them going completely down the kinect route unless there going for the wii market which maybe the case but i don't see it, they wouldn't be that stupid, but i do see them pushing the kinect alot more. but will see, my money is going to a ps4 as for me they have the better games and with the ps4 having the whole easier to develop for setup multiplats are always going to be good so no need for a 720.

I like Sony as much as the next guy, but with the exception of Uncharted and God of War, I really think most of their franchises are pretty forgetable. (Killzone, Infamous, Motorstorn, Grand Tourismo, Little Big Planet, Twisted Metal). That's just my opinion though.

No cause it won't be, lol. Withe the immense sales of some of MS's properties they're aware of the core market and its power. But having Kinect allows them to tap into the casual market as well. Its the intelligence and ability to do both that will make the 720 a success, IMHO.

I was always going to own them all; I always do every generation. But, if it's all casual Kinect stuff, I'll wait a year or two before picking it up.

I've bought multiple consoles since the 2nd generation, and I don't expect that will change this generation. I don't really care if MS focuses on Kinect. As long as they put out games I want to play I'm good.

Matter of fact the only thing that will keep me from buying either the PS4 or Nextbox is if they block used games. I don't buy many used games, but I still want to be able to rent questionable games before buying. If I loose that ability I won't be buying that console.
