The content of his inFamous 2 review was rubbish though. Literally all the things he complained about were present in the first game, which he gave a 9/10.

He didn't say that though. He was talking like the problems were completely new and such.

That said, I agree that it felt pretty similar to the original, and that would've been a reasonable criticism

 I don't get this. People act like he sees things in games that aren't there, that he just makes things up because of this or that. The points he brings up are fair and they are points that can be debated.

If GTA V receives a high score its because it will have earned it.
If GTA V receives a low score its because it will have earned it.

It honestly wouldn't matter to me.

99.9% of the people who complain about his reviews do so before they even play the games he's reviewed. I've never thought anything was off about the content of his reviews, or the scores he gives.

It's just simply fanboyism.

People barely even talk about TLOU anymore even here on cow central, and I don't know a single person IRL who has picked up their copy beyond the first week they got it. Let's all hate McShea because he attached an 8 to the review he gave of the 11/10 GOAT OF ALL TIME that we don't even care about anymore!!!! Where's my torch and pitchfork?

Perhaps a few die hard GTA fanboys will care.

The downfall won't be that big since it's a multiplat.

Id probably do the 2nd one and then enjoy playing it for a long time on my PS3.

It's not that McSHea is dishonest or honest... honesty has nothing to do with it. It's his ability to comprehend... working late at night =/= bad person (TLOU review)... and he has trouble with controls quite often I guess... which is why Zelda:SS scored the way it did.

Tom McShea just is poor at gaming in general it seems and lacks comprehension of basic human tropes... (maybe he's an alien)... in any case, who/what he is makes him a bad reviewer.

Watch the video of Tom and 2 others from gamespot talk about TLOU... it becomes abundantly clear that Tom doesn't have a clue.
