That is the first thing that pops into my mind when I see people call themselves "hardcore gamer". Why can't we just be gamers?

They will usually have one game that doesn't meet those requirements but to quote them, "that **** sucks bra". A bro gamer will usually be seen on his couch with any combination of chips, red bull and beer talking trash to noobz and pwning little **** To be fair a bro gamer is no different from movie go'ers that only watch the summer blockbusters, or people that only listen to whats on the radio, at least thats how i look at it.

Much like any trade or sport, if one was to be pro at gaming they may only be specialsed in one genre as it plays on the persons strengths and ability more than others.
