What is going on with 360...

i have been with X360 sense day one, switched over to PS3 last year, but ended up going back to 360 after missing up, but 2010-2011 is looking pretty poor for 360 titles, i mean we get awsome mutiplats, and Gears3/Forza4, but it seems like to me that now Kincet is going to be MS main focus, maybe i made a bad choice by coming back to 360, it seems like it is going all for the casual gamer, like wii, few hardcore games, but mainly casual, i dont mind casual but i also want good muti and x360 only games.

You should just stick to both consoles. Both systems will have a solid year.

well it is lame and all but really what do you expect? it's a 5 year old console.

they are concentrating on the next gen games and letting kinect limp the old girl back to the stable.

360 has had this problem since day 1. I fail to see how its any different with the ps3 now

PS3 has a far better year than the 360 so far. Unless you really like Kinect then the 360's lineup is pretty poor outside of Gears 3.

360 will have a good year (alot of outstanding multiplats) and ps3 will have an amazing year. sound good? :P

Cant really say I'm surprised MS dont really have as many devs as Sony. But gears is the only exclusive I'm looking forward on the 360, and a big one at that. And as far as Forza 4 goes I'm tired of sim racers atm, I mean we got Forza 3 in 09, and GT5 in 2010. I would have rather MS made another PGR game.

I stick to talking about the exclusives. Whatever multiplat or XBLA game the 360 receives, the PS3 probably will too. I think its kinda sad the 360 relies on multiplats this year.

Because exclusives represent the advantages of that system. They sorta define the console itself. Multiplats may be better but anyone can get them, so to speak. I know the PS3 isn't getting all of the 360/PC multiplats, but theres also a few PC/PS3 multplats if I remember correctly. It depends on the exclusive or multiplat. An exclusive can be the best game released this year (like this year - *Cough* super mario galaxy 2), or it could be a multiplat.

Gamers care about games, exclusive or multiplatform.

I think I only own 10 between both PS3 and 360. Multiplats are far superior to most exclusives these days so who cares if 360 only has two this year. A great game is a great game..

Exclusives are good for are fanboy wars though.

The 360 shares 17 games (8.0+) with the PC that the PS3 doesn't. I'm telling you, if you don't have an auxiliary PC, be sure to double-check the 360.

PS3's line-up promises for this year, though, and unless a good sum of them flop, it'll do much better than the Xbox.

But if you look at all of these "great " PS3 exclusives, Id say outside of Uncharted 3, Im not really overly impressed. I played and finished KZ2, Uncharted 2, RFoM 2, iNfamous, Heavy Rain, GOW 3 and played MAG for several weeks after it came out and out of all those games, only Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2 left me with that WOW I am glad I got to play that game feeling! Imo, both KZ 3 and RFoM 3 are run of the mill FPS. iNfamous 2 does nothing to separate itself from other action games and I dont see a Heavy Rain in this supposedly vaunted PS3 line up. The 360 will be just fine.

People forget that in 2010, every big-name 360 game was announced 12 months or more before release. Alan Wake was known 5 years in advance, and SC: Convictino was known 2 1/2 years in advance. The "Microsoft announces games only a few months before" is a myth, plain and simple.Mrmccormo

Alan Wake was announced as a multiplat. It changed to exclusive.. five years after that. And SC: Conviction.. well it was never exclusive and was not announced by Microsoft, but Ubisoft.

It seems every year we go through this and every year I never have time enough in the year to play all the awesome games available to play on 360.. Seriously !!! :shock:

Man just own both consoles and enjoy the games on both. If there's one thing I've learned about exclusives is that there will be tons of hype on here about how great they will be. The games will be released, and played heavily for a few weeks, and most will be forgotten.

There are going to be periods when one console gets played more than the other, but it's no reason to rush out and sell the other console. There will be plenty to play on both consoles this year.

Gamers shouldn't care about sales.

I think both lineups are equally average. Only exclusives I'm looking forward too are Uncharted 3, Gears of War 3, inFamous 2 and hopefully SOCOM 4. Although Sony doesn't care about the only good shooter it had last gen and would rather focus on 4 other mediocre shooters for some odd reason..

Yeah but that's besides the point. Speaking as a neutral you would say the PS3 has the far better lineup. Perhaps in 2012 it'll be the other way around as it looks liek SONY are throwing everything but the kitchen sink into this year.
