What is Microsoft's last banger that wasn't a car/plane simulation?

Just going through the list of pure crap they have released in the past decade, I'd have to say the last real banger they released was Gears 3 all the way back in 2011. Is there any other publisher in the industry that has gone that long without a banger that isn't an annual release? It's insane to think this company makes hardware and went so long without investing in any quality software for it.

Yep. It's really sad that for the last decade Microsoft has brought nothing to the table of the gaming industry except for annual racing games.

I'm personally not a fan of online shooters or racers so Microsoft's "big three" doesn't do anything for me, but Ori was decent and I really enjoy the Age of Empire games.
