Yes! Have you taken a serious look at the plot elements? Arms taking over personas? A billion stupid plot twists. Cyborg Ninjas. 4 or 5 different clones of Big Boss. Iluminati.

You have to play the game to know what a great game it is :)

Its great stuff, without it Chinese take-aways wouldn't be half as nice, the texture would be all wrong!

What is so great about MGS? seriously. It's a good game and very well done. But there are plenty of games that are just as fun. Mass Effect, Gears, Halo, Bioshock, etc are all just as good. People really need to get off MGS's jock. It's one game lol and one game I don't even like that much. The more I hear about it the more I don't like it and think it's overrated. I think I'm just going to not like it because it's annoying at this point. The same goes for Gears. When it came out all people talked about was gears. "OMG GEARS. If MGS WERE A PENIS I WOULD SUCK IT." It's the same thing. Gears was a good game for its time. There are plenty of good games. Just shut up about MGS already.

It's so good and btw all games you mentioned is from xbox360.. so yah >_>..

grat story, characters (bosses are fleshed out characters themselves), great cinematics and overall presentation

graphics, sound, gameplay are also great

there's very little wrong with MGS games IMO

I loved everything about MGSIV from the moment I pre-ordered it..... :)

Its really an excellent game !!! (going through the game a 2nd time, and enjoying MGO)

What are you trying to prove dude? I was just joking around and those games are just as good. If you think otherwise you are a shameless fanboy yourself. I gave mg its props. I just am sick of hearing about it and would like to know what makes it so good once and for all.

Of those games, Bioshock is probably the closest to being as good as MGS4. But even then... it's not. It's one thing to say those games are good. But they are clearly not AS GOOD. MGS4 just does too much that no other game has accomplished before it... and it does it cohesively w/o any one part of the game suffering. None of those other games have the same impact. That is why MGS4 is so great.
