Super Mario Bros. 3...with Super Mario World in a close second.
SolidTy
yep. just about what i was going to say :)
LBP, all the other games ppl have listed, you beat them once might as put a fork in them. LBP just keeps going and going, just like the energizer bunny.

I'm going to have to second that opinion.

that made me lol, BP used to be my favorite until sony got so strict about what can be in your level editor, I kinda lost interest with the game after that cuz tbh Im not a huge fan of its actual gameplay :P
Tie between Super Mario Bros. 3, Ristar, and Donkey Kong Country 2.

ooh I fo rgot about Ristar, that game is amazing! I still play it all the time on Sonics Ultimate genesis collection (my sega genesis version was lost a long time ago :P)
Super Mario Brothers 3,Sonic the Hedgehog 2,Yoshi's Island,Super Metroid (more of an action adventure, but still),and Kirby's Adventure are some of my favorites. And while the subject is up,I thought Super Mario World was kind of disappointing.Still a great game, but weaker compared to many of the other Mario games.

In what ways broski? I mean, maybe weak compared to Yoshi's Island but its basically SMB3 except refined in some ways, and cut in others.

It has some platforming elements, but it's not a platformer.Super metroid most definately.

I just wanted to see how you would respond. You didn't take it very well, for shame. :(
does anyone remember sparkster or chip n dale rescue rangers?hy4kChip N' Dale was amazing, and so was Duck Tales. Never played Sparkster.
Yoshi's Island on the GBA. IDK if the SNES version was the same or not. I'm guessing they are by the box art.

Yeah, I'm cutting myself at this very moment. In what ways broski? I mean, maybe weak compared to Yoshi's Island but its basically SMB3 except refined in some ways, and cut in others.

It was worse than Super Mario Brothers 3 to me.The level design didn't "feel" as good or as inspired, the power-up system was gutted, and the world map was a disappointment compared to the one in Super Mario Brothers 3.It felt like it was trying to be like Super Mario Brothers 3,but it couldn't match up.

I see, I actually though SMB3 world map was garbage. It doesn't really serve any purpose besides going level to level and getting some power ups. Really nothing all that inspiring to begin with. As for level design, eh, I'm of the mind that they were fairly equal except in different ways. SMB3 had some creative levels like the giant pipe maze level in world seven of the 6th level in world 5 but sometimes it was extreme miss. I thought SMW was more consistant. It evened out. I also thought World's soundtrack beat SMB3's over the head with a lead pipe. Nothing inspirational about it, no atmospere to me. Same with boss fights and big castles vs airships. SMB3 had more complex platforming though and the mix of powerups was definitely to its benefit. World's power ups were fine but more choice isn't bad. granted I a liken Yoshi to a hell of a lot more useful than half of 3's power ups which are stupid. Tanooki, Frog and hammer suit are awesome but hammer suit was the only one that added anything honestly. Frog would be second but it was under utilized. I thought the exploration element of World is what made it so good, you are encouraged to search around and get an actual worthwhile reward for doing it. Anyway I am ranting now. Carry on :)
