Certainly not PS3 and 360, there is very little reason to own both. And even if you do you would end up favoring one system over the other anyway and not play the other one very much, thus it simpley being a waste of money.
Not true. PS3 can be used as a blu ray player for a Xbox 360 only gamer. As for a PS3 only gamer owning a 360 would be for exclusives (save you're lame jokes guys, I've heard them all already, and their not true anyways), so I could see that arguement if one didn't care for the 360s exclusives. I'll own all three again soon once I buy another PS3, and while my main focus will be on my 360, I will still play games on the Wii and PS3 as well.Certainly not PS3 and 360, there is very little reason to own both. I agree, with wii+ps3 as a close second.

I'd put 360 + Wii second just because 360/PS3 both have a similar amount of exclusives, but 360 has the added benefit of far more PC/360 titles, and XBLA
No way, sorry. PS3 has some great exclusives and doesn't require the $60/year subscription. You can play the bulk of 360 games on the pc, and in a better fashion. ALL the must have ps3 games aren't available on pc.
Right, but this thread is about owning two systems.
If I couldn't own a PC then 360 would be my next choice to go with as it has a much bigger library than the PS3.

Your not very informed are you? Check my sig. ANd if you cancel out the PC-console games which for the purposes of this thread you'd have too, the PS3 destroys the 360 even harder.IMO PS3 & 360. Get the best online and a ton of good exclusives or PC/36- only games with 360, plus all the PS3 exclusives.

Some people can't afford every single system.
..then why would you ask what's the best combo? :| Wow are you SRS? Reading comprehension 0/10. To topic, I voted PC/ps3 but if I could vote pc/Vita I would probably do that as its portable and should be well supported after ps3 is replaced. If you can afford them, all of them. I bought my third (!) PS3 to play the exclusives, as I do on the once-a-year-used Wii. My PC is sadly dated after only 4 years but I get good Steam deals when I can.

Indeed, with a 360 you dont need a PC or PS3
There isn't a best combo really you need them all :P but in order of importance I say you need:
PC
PS3/360 (I can't choose between these two, sure the PS3 has a better list of exclusives and I probably prefer it but I had so much fun on Halo and FM this gen...)
Wii
