What is the best handheld of all time?

I've played since the early 90's, and I gotta say that the 3DS feels like it's the best. It goes through the hall of fame of Nintendo IP and releases great games from their flagship franchises.

3DS, mainly because I haven't owned any other handheld. Should get around to buying some DS games though.

Well since the Virtual Boy isn't on the list I'm gonna go with the GBA.

In terms of design, I loved the GBASP. It was pretty perfect as far as the ergonomics went. The clamshell design was just the right size for just about any pocket, too. As far as library goes, I'd say the DS. There was so much variety that it boggles my mind how many great games I still have to play on it. The 3DS is getting there, though.

It's a question you and others are better positioned to answer than I, since I still haven't purchased a 3DS. It has been my belief that to this point most would consider the Advance library ahead of the 3DS, but perhaps that's changed.

I will say that the Advance has a special place in my heart for being the first device that truly felt like it was delivering an uncompromised console-like experience in my hands. Because of that, a lot of titles are what I consider classics, even if several are ports of existing console games. Talking about it has me tempted to hit the local Gamestop up for a Used SP just to hold it again...

Nintendo Gameboy for me. I never really moved on from it. Hardly played the Gameboy Advance and DS in comparison.

In terms of hardware when the handheld released? Probably the Vita or PSP.

In terms of games I could enjoy? Definitely the 3DS. It has classics re-releasing for it along with some current gen goodies like ALBW.

Shoot. The New 3DS may just be the Best Handheld on the market. I mean I LOVE the Vita, it's design, the way it feels on your hand, the Games...but the NEW 3DS adds so much to the table, I don't think I can say that the Vita is the best handheld anymore.
