Some may hate how it's getting a little brighter...but The Darkness 2 really looks good. So does Windwaker, Killer 7, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, Prince of Persia (08), Jet Set, I mean damn...LOOK AT ALL THESE GAMES! They all just look so amazing, is there even a BAD cel shaded game to look at, even?
I hardly know of one. :P
obviously that Studio Ghibli game.
Seriously, The Game Play for that Game is so intense, It actually looks like a Cartoon/Anime rather than a 3D environment game.
True that... oh and PoP looks pretty good too.Gundam Musou looks fairly good. Does a really good job of making the models look not Cel Shaded, but they are. It's more apparent when your actually playing the game and you get a really close up view of the characters.

The lack of Viewtiful joe in this thread is disturbing :cry:The_PacificI forgot about this game, i really love this on gamecube. I really want to see another one :(
I don't have that many. But, Curse of Monkey Island (1997) is one:

That's not a cel-shaded game, it's simply hand-drawn 2D graphics.

Yes, old 2D adventures age gracefully. Except for the really old, text-based ones. But even those may have a certain charm to them.
I bet many never played Fear Effecthippiesanta
Yet that game had what could be called "fake cel-shading" :P
