What is the big deal about GeOW2 graphics? Have people forgotten about UT3?

Unreal Tournament 3 has graphics just as good as GeOW2, and UT3 came out on PS3 back in 2007. So why the big fuss about GeOW2 graphics? GeOW2 graphics are good, but not the best. There are other games with equally good, or arguably better graphics. And anyways Uncharted 2 will have the best graphics when it comes out.Timberwolf5578

The UE3 version used for UT3 is very different than the version for GEoW2 , it's a developing platform that changes constantly .

UT3, Gears1, MassEffect and others use Unreal Engine 3

Gears2 uses Unreal Engine 3.5

And the diference is pretty big, trust me ;)

On topic-It is silly to say UT3 is just as good or better then gears. They are both from the same developer which are the same ones that made the unreal engine. Also Gears 2 has the most advanced form of that engine in a released game.

I am glad that PS3 users still need to try weak flaimbait bash threads on Gears 2 even though it is out and scored. It shows some feel threatened in some way about it. Fact is Gears is a better selling game series then anything on the PS3 including MGS4. Gears 2 has only been out less then 1/3 the time MGS has but according to VG Charts it has already out sold MGS4.

Please, read my post above. It's a bullshot, added AA, and check the quality. It's 720p, native. Gears 2 is not 720p native, check the UT3 screen that the guy compared it to. The quality of the UT3 pic is crappier, that's because its an in-game screenshot.crazy-player
