In my opinion the gamecube controller fits really well and has great button placement.

I think the DualShock 3 is the best. I haven't found another controller as incredible, and believe me, I've tried almost all of them.
I agree but the 360 controller is king for shooters.Dualshock. When that controller came out, it was like a haven for my hands. I still enjoy using it.

Really? Am I the only person who thinks that the DualShock 3 is best for shooters(exlcuding KB/M)
It is a big step up from the N 64 controller i was playing SSB on 64 last night and that controller is terrible bit the game was amazing.Since everyone has done to death saying the dualshock 2 and 360 controller I'll pick the GC controller as my choice, loved that thing so much, awesome as controller.

Its good but i perfer concave for FPS games. I used to think the triggers were amazing for driving games that was before I played gta on the ps3 it so much better to drive in the ps3 version.[QUOTE="Phoenix534"][QUOTE="Rza_rectah"] I agree but the 360 controller is king for shooters.Rza_rectah

I dont know for games where you push L3 to run its alot more comfortable.the 360 controller. The dualshock has been outdated since 2000Nidgetyet the 360 is pretty much a dual shock. only real difference is the stick placement. The fact the dual shock has lasted 3 gens shows how great it is.
360 or dual shock, both are great. 360 with ps3 dpad and no battery pack sticking off would be close to perfect. imprezawrx500lol. the best controller would be gamecube controller with Dualshock analogs, 360 triggers, Dualshock's L1 + R1 buttons, Dualshock's D-Pad, 360's face buttons, and the battery thing you stated.

For most sports games (Ex.:Tiger Woods, Madden, Wii Sports Resort) and games that are heavy on pointing and/or shooting at things (Ex.: Resident Evil 4, Medal of Honor, Metroid Prime, Super Mario Galaxy), the Wii remote is the best controller.
For 3rd-person action games that require many buttons (Ex.: Assassin's Creed, Ninja Gaiden, Metal Gear Solid) and fighting games (Ex.:Street Fighter IV), the Dualshock 3 is the best controller.
360 is the best controller ever made.... I dont feel like im exaggerating when i say thatwolverine4262As long as you pretend the D pad doesn't exist.
