What is the greatest first person shooting/adventure series?

Halo Don't care what anybody says, Halo 1 IMO was the best game i have ever played for its time.

When you say shooting adventure...do you mean First person shooter or third person shooter. anyways, one of My favorite FPSs that pop in mind is "Return to castle wolfenstein" (PC version.) As for third person shooter....I guess I'd say Max Payne...or if you're looking for something more recent...there's games like gears and uncharted.

Metroid Prime and Halo are not the same kind of games.. MP is a First Person Shooter and Adventure hybrid, Halo is just an FPS.

Metriod Prime and Halo aren't even alike.

Metroid plays like Zelda in First Person.

Halo plays like all other FPS shooters.

When you said FPS, you could get alot of answers, but adding the term adventure, can anyone disagree with Metriod Prime.

I go with Metroid Prime. :) (Half-Life for fps in general)
