What is the hardest game you ever played ??

Now before I start I am from the old school and it seems the new games are too easy. I remember when the game ending was a big deal, not something you could get in a couple hours like today. Anyway here are a couple of oldies but goodies to set things off.1. Ranger X - if you played on easy no ending lol2. Final fantasy tactics ( if you fought wiegraf and lived you know)3. Mike tyson's punch out - nuff said4. Ninja gaiden - huge armored dragon ring a bell ??5.. Ghost and ghouls - what save pointThis is just a starter list that anybody under 20 would know nothing about.

Well, you couldn't set the difficulty in the Arcade IIRC. You were stuck with whatever difficulty setting the Arcade was set at. And I don't even know if it actually has an easiest difficulty setting.

But yes, Gradius III is very though.

Nothing complicated, just really, really hard...

And in a time before the internet and GameFAQS on AOL. Difficult dungeon crawlers like this one drove you insane. This game was complicated, massive, and for 9 year old kids it was very, very hard.
