and xbox360 premium you had to buy an add on for HD-DVD and buy a new elite model for HDMI

overall ps3 is the much better bargain even though it costs the most

It just so happens next month I'll be taking a 25 dollar bi-weekly pay cut. So then, I'll be most interested in something around the 350 dollar range.

Yea since the prices of hi-def disc players are really high. Paying 300-500 just to watch HDDVD/Blu-ray (and then 30 dollars per disc) is way too much.

Console-850 Canadian, why? I'm a gamer and I have that kind of cash, but of course it has to be worth it, like I wouldn't pay that much for a Wii, but maybe for a 360/PS3, (360 only if it was definitly not gonna get ring of death)

Consoles (not PCs), I would not pay morethan 400 dollars or so, under a half a grand is quite the limit. I don't care whether I am getting an excellent deal, that price range is just crazy. If you go by that rule, does it stop if you're getting an excellent deal on 1.5 system. I say no.For PC that have more things and uses than just gaming and perhaps a bit media, thats a different story.

BTW I got my 360 for $449.99 on a sale with games which is why I got it. But the highest I think I would pay for one is $499.99 Canadian.

If the next Gen console's get worse prise wise Ill will give in and upgrade my PC on every console generation just so I can laugh at their weak capabilities.
