The last game I purchased from gens of the past would be Goemon's Great Adventure for the N64.
Specifically from last gen though, hmmm....oh ya! Shadow of the Colossus and Ico for PS2. It takes a special breed to appreciate those two. They are both a delicacy of gaming.
Twisted Metal: Black for the PS2. Second only to Twisted Metal 2 in terms of quality with tighter, more refined gameplay. The only thing it lacks is better levels (New York and Tokyo are just too awesome) and better character stories. That and an ending for Minion. The first time I played Black I was pissed that Minion didn't get an ending FMV... then when I go to play it again several years later I totally forgot about it and then end up being even more pissed the second time.
I got Fatal Frame and Fable: The Lost Chapters last week. Sneak King too, if that counts. It comes with "an X-Box and X-Box 360" version, so I imagine it qualifies, even if I'll only use it on my 360.
the latest one that i got from the ps2/xbox era, mgs essentials, latest one i got from the ps1/n64 era, mgs1, but next week the most recent is gonna change to either mgs3, or conker live, depending on which on arrives first
I actually just recently went on gamestop online and got a handful of old ps2 games. It ranged from The gta trilogy pack, to the bouncer, state of emergency,Xlll, freedom fighters, and way of the samurai.....All great games.
Not that it pertains to the subject, but I also got Tales of Vesperia and Hitman blood money(2nd time) for 360. Having them shipped so by tomorrow, I'll have a goldmine of amazing games at my disposal :D
