Note: I really want to pick up GoW2, but I haven't gotten the motivation yet. I hear its really good, some even say better than the first.. but.. eh. I'll get it eventually.0rin
God of War 2 is pretty awesome man, an epic game for sure. But I think I kinda liked the first game better... but like I said, God of War 2 isnt too shabby either. ;)
You should get it man, it's dropped to $20.
I always buy old PC games when I can, I rarely buy new games, as it feels like a leap of faith with the high price points.
My latest last gen console game is RE4: Wii edition, fantastic game, pretty close to Super Mario Galaxy in terms of quality. All it needed was a good story and dialogue which wasn't groan inducing.
yeah, seriously. I waited, what, not even a year and got Assassin's Creed for 24 bucks new. If the price can drop that much, it only seems to make sense to wait.Ias it feels like a leap of faith with the high price points.

True, although I shamefully gave into temptation with GTAIV.Ias it feels like a leap of faith with the high price points.

I haven't seen Dark Knight
True, although I shamefully gave into temptation with GTAIV.GTA IV was pretty worth it. And that won't drop in price for YEARS, I'm guessing. Dark Knight was awesome. What's wrong with you? I've only seen a few haters off or on the internet. It's almost universally loved :oI haven't seen Dark Knight

It's rare that a movie is universally praised by the cynics on web forums, but I only make an effort with the cinema when a new Harry Potter film comes out :(
It comes inherent from having a Blockbuster a few blocks away.
netflix > blockbuster You'd better have a large tv to watch the movie on, at least :xIt comes inherent from having a Blockbuster a few blocks away.

Netflix dosen't operate in England, but do they have Häagen-Dazs, or any appropriate snacks?
Thankfully I have a large TV, I don't even have HD channels or any HD movies yet, so I guess Dark Knight will be the first HD movie I buy.

lol ice cream delivered in the mailbox with movies. Sounds dangerous.lol, I envisaged a pizza hut-esque delivery service, my Netflix wikipedia research was probably too vague. So that would mean I'd have to get it all separately? That's a deal braker (if not having Netflix in England wasn't enough).
these were the last PS2 games i bought :-
GT4, Resident Evil4, GOW2, FF XII & Shadow of the Colossus...
Well, PRESUMABLY, you could buy snacks/ice creams when shopping for general foodstuffs. And then netflix would come in the mail and you'd already have the snacks ready :PJandurinThe problem is, delivery offers the luxury of being incredibly lazy, to have to make a point of thinking ahead and planning defeats the point. :P

On a side note, they just called me. They're gonna deliver my tv today! I ordered it on Monday, and with free shipping I get it Friday! Woot woot.[QUOTE="Jandurin"]Well, PRESUMABLY, you could buy snacks/ice creams when shopping for general foodstuffs. I wonder if Culdacept will play better on a bigger screen? *tries to refrain self from making a "last gen" joke about Culdacept* :P
*tries to refrain self from making a "last gen" joke about Culdacept* :PWell, I played most of my games on a 46" that just went kaput :( But, that was a DLP, and this is a 46" plasma. 30,000:1 native contrast :o I expect to be amazed.
