What is the most Scariest Game You've ever Played ?

Fatal Frame. . The Demo at that :P right now I am playing Silent Hill one but hyped to play Amnesia The Dark Decent. .

F.E.A.R. I don't think it ranks too highly as far as scares are concerned against the the classics, but its the scaries I've had the guts to play. My cousin will probably buy Silent Hill: Downpour because we have horror weekends every so often (FEAR, FEAR 2, Dead Space, Dead Space 2 so far... And he bought Alan Wake thinking it was a horror game). Hopefully that will be good.

I was most scared with Silent Hill, but replaying it recently wasn't nearly as nerve wracking. Amnesia takes the crown.

Probably Demons Souls, the sounds while walking through the dark dungeons were enough for me to stop going and turn back.

Space Hulk - corridor after corridor of random attacks by purple clawed aliens trying to rip your face off.

Amnesia and before that it was probably Silent Hill 2 (underground prison :D). Amnesia became a lot less scary due to monster glitching up for me however, I don't know if that happens to everyone or Im just unlucky but they kept getting stuck.

The most scared I have ever been while playing a video game was Eternal Darkness. I'm not really sure if it is more scary than Amnesia though.

I've never been scared from any game. But I suppose Fatal Frame 2 was creepy. Then there was Eternal Darkness, which just screwed with your mind alot lol.

Haha I've made the same arguement before. The bell chimes from the squid monsters in the dungeons of Latria made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and stop me dead in my tracks! What a fantastic game. Even after you beat it a buncha times and start getting bored you just raid other people's games as a black phantom. Best game of the gen so far, easily...

Hmmm... Resident Evil REmake is pretty dang creepy... But I'd say one of the Theif games. While not horror, there are some horror themed levels that are scary as hell. Sadly, I have yet to play any Silent Hill games besides Homecoming and Shattered Memories. But I want to, really bad.

This. And the first catacombs when looking for Strelok's stash. That controller at the end scared the **** out of me.

RE4. The whole atmosphere was really creep and the fact they weren't actual zombies scared me even more. I used to jump everytime I head "matalo" in the castle.

REmake, Amnesia, Stalker:SoC and the first time I met the Regenerators in RE4.
