Nah, it sucked major balls. It has to be Halo, has been awesome since the first game.

Its Yoshi's Island of course. Such a unique soundtrack. Its not my favourite soundtrack ever but its definitely one of the most unique I've ever heard especialy for the SNES.

But honestly, I think Kingdom Hearts 1/2 had one of the best.

Agreed, Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories and especially Kingdom Hearts 2 had good soundtracks in my opinion. Hikaru Utada did an impressive job with Simple and Clean (Hikari)and Sanctuary (Passion).

Killer7.I also thought the track selections in Elite Beat Agents and the Ouendan series were both pretty bizarre.

Final Fantasy series , Metal Gear Solid series , Contra , main theme of bionic commando and so many other titles

Alone in the Dark and Genj: Days of the Blade.

DKC games have amazing music and pretty unique imo.

Im surprised no one has mentioned bioshock's music. it so suspensful and well done. it really helped produce the sense of horror
