What is the official hype for heavy rain?

A on some sights, B on others, a few AA and I would not be shocked to see a AAA from a sight like Eurogamer who love games that push boundaries...

I think Heavy Rain will be the most polarazing and debated about game of the year... the scores and reviews will be all over the place.

I'm referring to the cows that came out of no where hyping it because of those reviews. There have always been those of us that are hyping it AAA and have been a while.

Also, I'm sure there are no lemmings voting AAA just because they want it to flop, right?

Yeah, seems most reasonable people have taken a "wait and see" approach for as long as I can remember.

My personal hype? AA. The more I've seen, the more I'm comfortable believing I'll enjoy playing through the game. But I just don't see it having the amount of content or replay value to make it more than a rental. And if I can't see myself buying it, I can't see giving it a AAA score.

So far, its AA here, I hope lems take note this is official hype for Heavy Rain, so if it gets AAA you can't say "but cows were yping AAAA", and likewise if it gets AA. I see enough of this with MAG when it actually went up a score as an AA title instead of A, as widely predicted.

PS3 Blu ray Exclusive eh.. hmm..A GS AA at least but I dunno as it could reach levels of ...

I have no idea how it will score since there aren't many games like it. At this stage I wouldn't drop £40 for it, hell no. It's also trying to be a cinematic, story driven game and from what I've seen the voice acting is attrocious so that can't work in its favour. The script wasn't fantastic either. You never know, though, I'd really like to play it before passing more judgement because it might be just be mind blowing. I think it will make a GREAT rent.

Its a really hard one i know little about the game and i didnt like the whole lets live the life of a person bit. But it has some redeeming qualitys like atmosphere and the graphics and the Rain < I really like the Rain hmm Rain its raining now actually.

Er anyway its been rated highly on some sites and not so highly on others but i think credit should be given to the Devs and Sony for trying something different ("A Habbit i personally feel Sony have had since the PS1, although not as strong this generation.")

Im going to blindly call out a 9.0 or an 8.0 not sure need to do more research.

Have you played Indigo Prophecy? Because I was just like you before I played it on my PC and.. Yeah this is going to be a AAAE. If you haven't get it for PC. It should just fine even on an XP.

I'm not referring to MAG or WKC, I see a trend with all the fanboys, they hype things to the next moon then either the hype dies or builds with the intial reviews, I want to get the hype before the intial reviews.

I did as well alot of cows hyped it up after the first reviews but we shall see.

There were quite a few it wasn't as small as you were making it out ot be.

I played it, well, only the first 15 or so minutes, wasn't my thing.

It looks ok to me, I might try it out, if it's not too long prolly a rent and weekend playthrough.

But it looks like it'll be getting mostly AAA scores. I voted AA, since it looks ok to me, but it's looking to get great scores.

WOW. Look at the cows back out of their hype. Shocker. Every single "must have" list and "2009 & 2010 are year of ps3" threads have had HR, and not to mention the constant spam of claiming "graphics king", only to hype it AA? Rofl. I guess that means Alan Wake and Halo Reach's hypes are indeterminable until we get some reviews, after which, we will decide if we are hyping them AA or possibly A to avoid ownage. DeadMagazines

i'm guessingAA. i dont see this game scoring a 9 or higher but who knows. either way ill be picking it up, it sounds interesting andinnovative (which is what gaming needs)
