What is the Wii's greatest weakness?

This isn't a topic about whether the Wii is good or bad.

Every console has its weaknesses. What is the Wii's greatest weakness? Why?

Innacurate motion controls. Maybe if it had better ones game developers would have used it's motion control as a tool rather than a gimmick. hakanakumono

Well, actually, I've heard its not so much accuracy as much as developers don't know what to do with the data the wii controls provide them with. It's difficult to know what the wiimote is doing, hence ... waggle. This is what I heard from the developer who owns this website:

A constant flow of good Third Party games, not just one every couple of months

I could care less about the graphics....The no hard drive is the biggest factor IMOHarlockJC

oh yeah. i say harddrive. the wiiware service is getting better and better, but the lack of space on the wii is actually preventing it from truly shinning. Rahnyc4

Developers haven't taken it seriously.*

It doesnt' need better graphics. THe DS is by far the weakest system this generation, yet it ranks among the best. It's library of good games is almost entirely exclusive. THat should be the case with the wii. It shouldn't be recieving much in the way of multiplats(or at least multiplats that try to be the same as the other consoles games.. it can be different like Shaun White), but rather new concepts from bright, creative developers.

*of course with better graphics.. developers might have taken it a little more seriously. But, i'm sure one coudl argue that with better graphics comes a higher selling price, and a more intimidating machine for the masses. And it could be the gamecube all over again.

Graphics can at least salvage a crappy gameacsguitar

People saying the game library probably don't own a Wii. There are more than enough high quality games to keep any gamer busy. Saying that the Wii's game library is weak is like calling the PS2s game library weak based off the slew of shovelware. Lack of a HDD though, it just kills me. I have like over a gig of downloaded content and guess what, ONLY 512 meg of SPACERABicle

unlike the ps2, wii doesn't have the unbandance of AA and AAA games to outweigh the shovelware.

I own a wii and even i know this year was pretty slim pickings in terms of quality games
