What is the worst game you have ever played?

Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22 and Spyro Enter the Dragonfly.

While new order is bad. but its sequel is even far worse. among the worst FPS of all time.

All time? Some freeware game I got on Desura a while back. Game was completely broken.

@ghosts4ever: I was actually pleasantly surprised by Wolf2. Sure there was some cheese, sure the gunplay was slightly off and sure there was that impossibly unlikely event that happened midway through, but overall quite decent.

Just play RTCW and pretend these games don't exist.

I hate Mario. Never understood why its popular and I genuinely think the whole series is one of the worst game series ever made. Never made it past world 1-2 or 1-3 on the NES or whatever the **** the original game is on and the longest I ever played a mario game was the 3DS Mario Land stage 4-2 or 4-3 the desert/pyramid area and that took years and bunch of youtube video to actually guide me cause I genuinely can't give a **** to really try the game. Only did it cause my significant other keep insisting I play and discover the wonders of Mario. Its horrible.

Doom Eternal is better.

Love how this threads are filled with good/great games ... and very few truly bad games (and no, mentioning games like Horizon, BotW, Gears, Mass Effect won't make you edgy).

Anyway, i could as far as the NES era, i remember Superman was kind of ... it was realy bad. Same with Superman 64 (damn, my boy got no lucky) and there were a bunch of Wii Fighters that just sucked bad, and bad in not a funny way, just bad as boring, forgettable and bad. Also the Grudge game, for Wii as well.

Worst is subjective. It's possible to play a objectively badly designed game and have a good time, while playing a widely praised game and have an extremely poor time.

In almost all cases when people say "the worst", they are talking about experience, not analytical based on objectively logical reasoning but feeling, experience etc...

absolutely. my worst experience in gaming goes to Tomb raider reboot, Deus Ex 2, newer wolfenstein etc.

lol, yeah, I'm probably exaggerating it a little bit. I think I was just really disappointed with it, especially coming from the studio that did "Eternal Darkness." I'd be into a remake.

@gym_lion: In game terms? Yes. We've basically had it drummed into us with 9-10 = god anything lower than 7 = bad. Simplified measuring stick for people who can't be arsed reading. It becomes a fight or flight mentality with no middle ground.

If someone tells me losing their home was the worst experience of their life, I'll probably believe them.

In reality, there life hasn't reached its conclusion, so they are at best, presumptive, at worst, a stinking liar.

For sure. I just think if you've played games for long enough, you've eventually landed some games that are both the bad experience and just plain old absolute shite.

But I get you. Had a great time with Tenchu Wrath of Heaven, game was severely flawed from top to bottom. Major dislike for MGS4, one of the most disappointing sequels I've played, but the gameplay (what's there) is actually good.

Apperently MGS4 was one of few games I wanted to play didnot hit on PC.

Now to answer the question at hand, E.T. is near the top of my worst games ever played, next would be Dragon Heart on the PS1 (movie based game) and one of the very few games I've ever traded back in. There's been others through out the years that I've rented during the 8-32 bit days, but thankfully I've blocked them out of my memory.

Too Human is the only game that I actually got 1000 achievement points. A flawed gem, for sure. I logged a lot of co-op hours with my friends on that game!

Andromeda and Anthem must be in the top shittiest games i've played. Andromeda being one of the worst game i've ever purchased. Holy **** that game was bad.
