What is the worst game you have played that was actually recommended by gamespot

Lets see, Resident evil 4 i thought it was the worst RE game ever :? so overrated and Gran turismo 5 WOW it has to be the most boring driving game ever :? i will never understand how ps fans like this game,

I know I'll get flamed for saying it, but Half Life 2. The game was just boring for me. It was too linear, I never had any real feeling of advancing anywhere and all the puzzles were simple and involved the grav gun. It felt like it was made in 1998 and just given improved graphics. I expected something more.pundog

Yeah, same here.  I played the game and beat it.  I still don't get what was so special about it.  Also, nice gamertag name! :D

No replay value?  That's all the game is!  Maybe you just don't like that kind of game that Civ is?

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X (PS2).

Terrible controls, annoying puzzles, weak weapons and it felt like a chore.

Frequency was better.  But they were both fun. 

every GTA game, world of warcraft and halo, well not so much the gameplay i don't like but the story, how incredibly boring and predictable.

Halo 2 and Dead or Alive Ultimate-supercharged-

Halo 2. i was look forward to this game after all my friends talked about it. i was really suprised by how much of a letdown it was. it was nothing i hadn't tried before on a FPS.

 one of my favorite games got a 6.5. weird how GS rates games.

Mine would have to be Dark Cloud. That game was ok but it was so repetitive that it made me sick. you did the same thing over again and again and again. go into boring dungeon, build village (actually i would not even call it building) I can't believe they actually said this was the PS2's zeldaAxel_rocks14

Dark cloud 2 was the PS2's Zelda and was one of the best RPG's on the PS2.

halo( on pc) the graphics were fine and it played well, i liked it, but i cant see what all the fuss is about. i thought it was similar to time splitters:fp but slightly worse.(however timesplitters humor made me embarrassed to play it lol)

also i found the online REALLY boring as all anybody ever hosted was bloodgultch, i loved timberland with invisibility(nobody ever stayed:()

I stopped playing about 3/4 through. I hear the ending's good, so maybe I'll finish it one of the days...
