[QUOTE="dotWithShoes"][QUOTE="vicmackey39"]The Wii is the perfect platform for quirky, original, low budget, high quality games. That is why I bought mine and that is why I bought (or am going to buy) games like Boom Blox, Zack and Wiki, Kings Story, blast works, mercury meltdown revolution and no more heroes.
Meanwhile every Sheep is buying indistinguishable Mario Kart rehashes, mario party 46 and Wii Fit. How can you keep vacuuming up the same rehashed crap, while ignoring quality games? and how do you have the nerve to complain about crappy third party support when these games don't sell?

You failed when you said Mario Party 46.. Last I checked, 8 is NO WHERE near 46, though if you must Final Fantasy is closer to 46 and lets not start on MGS4.. oh wait lets do... How many MG games are there? In its main series, theres 7. Which, in case you failed 1st grade math is one less than 8.
Whoa! Somebody is getting a little to defensive over a party game. Settle down and breath a minute there. I think the guy you are posting to knows that 8 isn't close to 46. Perhaps he said that as an hyperbole, if you will, quite possibly to symbolize the overabundance of mario party games. Now, before you go off an accuse other series of games, you should probably be reminded that both of those series have been going on for quite a bit longer than Mario Party. Both Metal Gear and Final Fantasy have been going on since the 1980's. You probably already know that Metal Gear Solid was not the first Metal Gear game. Mario Party came out in 1999. Both of the series that you mentioned have atleast 3 year gaps between each installment, where as Mario Party has had a game come out every year. Not to mention that Metal Gear has a story that has run through every game, where Mario Party clearly doesn't. Let's also note that every game in both of those series has been commercially AND CRITICALLY successful, where Mario Party hasn't been at least critically. So sorry, your argument doesn't hold any water(figuratively). Perhaps you should pick better targets, might I suggest Tony Hawk, or Madden?
Tony Hawk probably would have been a better target, Madden is just too easy, imo. And nothing against MGS(gotta buy that game eventually), it was just theonly game on my mind at that moment. As for the defense of Mario Party, It just gets old every always saying Mario Party 46(59, 100, 5k), it gets tiresome. I personally couldn't stand Mario Party 8. But then again, not many games I do like now a days, most all of them have sold out to the graphics over gameplay gods.
