If VR counts I would have to give that a nod. I have never really been creeped out in RE7 like that before And I love skyrim's new experience. But honestly, most of the games I see mentioned here I could totally see as someone's favorite. Gaming is good....
I hate exclusives and see no reason to take any sort of gratification in them. "Oh, look at me, I can play X game on my console and you can't, nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah!" Very true. Fanboys are toxic to the industry The sad thing is that these are grown as men that support this nonsense. "Consoles need identity" nonsense. Too many man children in journalism and on the forums that are anti gamer.
Tell me about it guys. There is nothing pro consumer about exclusives. It benefits console manufacturers only. But some people are so in love with their platform manufacturer they refuse to see this. I had this debate with someone not too long ago on here. He claimed originality and creativity would suffer if all games were multiplats and consoles were like DVD players or stereos.
