PC - Divinity Original Sin 2 - Larian stated that they intended this to be to the the original as Baldur's Gate 2 was to 1. Given how much better BG2 was than it's predecessor that statement gave me much hype

PS4 - Star Ocean (5): Integrity and Faithlessness - Don't own a PS4 but this game would be the reason to get one somewhere down the line. Would have said Tales of Berseria but given the sales of Zestiria on steam we're likely to get a PC port of this title too.

I'll get that on PS4, so no.

@93BlackHawk93: Well, for instance, shooting down the static thoughts that show up can be done on Vita with the rear Touchpad, I can't imagine how that would translate to the DS4 (and using the analog stick would be far slower and more imprecise).

I simply cannot list 1 game and I do not own every platform, so these are what I'm anticipating;

PlayStation 4
I hate to provide two answers given the criteria in the OP, but it really is a tie for me between Final Fantasy VII Remake and Horizon: Zero Dawn. I have been waiting for the remake of FFVII with modern visuals and design sensibilities since last gen. Despite the lukewarm reception I really enjoyed Killzone: Shadowfall and am looking forward to Guerrilla's new IP (it looks fantastic).

The new Legend of Zelda. Without a doubt.

I'll be honest: nothing for this platform has sparked interest for me. I'm not into Gears', Forza, or Fable. Quantum Break doesn't grab me, and given the hardware, I'm not really expecting the final product to look and play like what has been leaked. I suppose if I have to give an answer, I want to see how that MMO-like pirate game turns out?

Elite: Dangerous Horizons.

After that chronologically probably Far Cry Primal. Also still waiting on Below which was supposed to drop this year. Its an ID@Xbox game so they still might stealth it onto the store like all the indies they release without announcing.

I have a pretty big backlog right now so theres no real rush on anything.
