What is your number 1 favorite game genre?

I would say mine is RPGs followed by action adventure at a close second. A good RPG is amazing, it has great gameplay, side content, great story, characters and an amazing world. But a bad RPG can suck and be absolutely boring. Action Adventure games are great because there isn't a ton of build up and things go through fluidly. That is, a good action adventure game. In recent years, this genre has been getting too much bloat and busy work. What about you, SW? What is your number 1 favorite game genre?

most action RPGs have shit gameplay mechanics. only rely on RPG elements and they get boring.

best action RPGs were Deus Ex 1 and System shock 2.
