I like gaming regardless of what device but playing games on a powerful pc and a 144hz monitor, a good gaming mouse and kb and the games run so much smoother, more responsive and you have better precision compared to consoles that I have to vote for pc in this poll. I like consoles for their exclusives and the ability to play in the couch with a couple of friends.

There are more casuals on PC then any other platform. You have to be a complete idiot not to even know that. Minecraft, Farmville, Candy Crush and the 1000's of other games like this is all played on PC and not game consoles. They are played by millions of casual gamers every day. You don't even need a link to know this; just some brains. There are more casual gamers NOT on STEAM, they are on STEAM. lol!! None of this has anything to do with XBL or PSN. They have millions of casual gamers as well, but no where as many as what's on PC. The most multiplat games are played on game consoles, not PC. lol!!

Xbox. Like the Japanese, I also have some nationalistic pride. Plus Halo is pretty much my favorite series, I prefer Live to PSN slightly, and the controller on xbox. Although my time with the PS4 controller is limited. Funny thing I don't hate Sony. Its the blind devotion and desire to put down anything NOT sony by some of the fanboys I hate. But its not like the others don't have a few of them also.

I've always been a sony fan, but over the last few years, pc has become my favorite . PC>Sony > Nintendo .

Last gen i had all 3.

PS3 because i wanted to play MGS4, GTA, Assassins Creed

360 because of Fable, Bioshock, Banjo

Wii because everyone wanted one so i could make money on ebay.

This gen I bought PS4 and XB1, no plans on a Wii U.

So far ive enjoyed the PS4 a lot more, though XB1 has the far better twitch functionality

PC

-More games by a landslide over the two
-The best versions of multiplats: better graphics, more control options, better performance, better online, etc
-A variety of digital outlets for ideal sales vs what the consoles are tied to
-Deeper games in general: let's not kid ourselves games built around a keyboard will be more complex than a gamepad game, ergo more nuanced, ergo deeper. It's that easy
-An indie scene that crushes what the consoles are offering
-Entire genres that aren't well represented on consoles: adventure games, strategy games, mmos, mobas, etc
-I can upgrade my PC to be even stronger after a certain amount of time

All it's really lacking is japanese support, and even that's improving by necessity for those devs.

200 GOTY after all and considered to be the best game of the last generation. Herms only dream in having a game like that on PC but that will never happen because Free 2 Play is the only thing that makes money there.

2. Consoles has 2 systems dedicated towards casual games (wii/wiiU), and most ps4 and xbone games are casual.

3. Steam doesn't have games like candy crush or farmville (which is what I assume you mean by casual), yet it has more concurrent than xbl and psn combined.

Well I guess Sony since I've supported the PS3 all throughout gen 7 and soon gen 8, with PS4. They've been my prime console simply because their systems have been a PERFECT BALANCE of 3rd Party support and they've supported their consoles far longer than any competition, except for Nintendo with the GB and DS lines.

However, I don't have a "fanboy" allegiance to any company for the simple fact I enjoyed the Original XBOX & GC over my DC and PS2 in Gen 6, before that, I enjoyed the N64 a lot more than my PS1, before that I enjoyed my Genesis & SNES equally, before that I enjoyed the NES far more than my SMS and before that I enjoyed my Intellivision II.

Gaming is my favorite hobby so I like to make sure that I don't miss out on anything and you can't do that if you have an allegiance, so I buy all of the consoles, but my rankings are.

1. Xbox - Xbox has been my favorite for three generations in a row now. Even though I feel they are the weakest when it comes to exclusives, they continue to be my favorite because they have the best online service and controller, both of which are very important to me and causes me to buy all multiplats on my Xbox consoles and therefore I always end up spending a lot more time playing on Xbox than I do my other systems.

2. Nintendo - I use my Nintendo and PlayStation consoles strictly for their exclusive games and I think Nintendo has a slight edge when it comes to great exclusives, so that is why I rank them as number 2.

3. PlayStation - Like I said, my PlayStation consoles are strictly for their great exclusives but their exclusives are not quite as great as Nintendo's. Plus, I've always hated the design of the Dualshock controller, so they lose some points for that too.

4. PC - I've never been a huge fan of playing games on PC; it just doesn't feel right to me. Maybe it is because I subconsciously associate my PC with work so I can't unwind properly on it or maybe it is because sitting back on my couch is much more comfortable than hunching over in my office chair, but whatever the reason, playing games on consoles is just more enjoyable to me with only one exception, strategy games. PC is definitely the best place to play strategy games so that's the one genre I mostly use my PC for.

Anybody who sticks to one brand is frankly stupid.
