Probably someone who buy's things based on advertising alone. Doesn't research anything before he buys. Just buys anything. I guess you'd have to be rich...
I almost want to choose #1, but then I only have a 360 so it's not like I'm going out and buying all the consoles and getting a nice PC to play all the games. But I do buy a good majority of games for my 360, and have a nice HDTV.
i had all three at one point, gave my niece my wii, gave my brother my launch 360, bought a new 360, bought a ps3, cancelled live subscription after nov... the only thing i wish i have is a gaming pc
I'm a "budget minded" (for lack of a better term) #1. For example I have a 56" DLP HDTV, a great 5.1 surround sound system, a 360, a Wii and a semi-gaming laptop, but no PS3 or BR player. Why? Because I can't justify spending $400+ so I can wait for MGS4 or GT5 to come out, or for BR movies to drop below $30 each. When prices go down or some other compelling reason comes around (like glowing MGS4 reviews) I would consider buying a PS3, but as of right now I have little interest in it.
I only buy one console but I really only buy a few games a year because I mainly just play online games and if I get a good online game, I can play it and not get bored for a long time.
Can't say any of these describe me. I have a 360 but I don't exactly play many last-gen games. I would like to own a Wii but I have yet to see one (not in a hurry so I have not really looked that hard)
Dunno really I have a 360, a decent HDTV, an awesome PC, DS, next month Im getting Wii...unless I hear some news of Rock Band coming to europe already. I dont play much of my PS2 anymore so I cant really say that I play lots of last gen games. I have plenty of games for everything although my 360 collection is was smaller than my PS2 since I found a good store and trade games instead of buying new ones. I do not look at advertising at all. The only comercials I like didnt really have to do anything with games. The ones Im talking about are the 360 shootout comercial and Sonys mountain of people thing. I read reviews and play demos and then decide whether to buy.
I'm a cheapass gamer, but I'm also a PC gamer, so it's a weird combo but works for me. I've made small investments to make my PC that I need for other things capable of gaming. I'm usually about a year behind in my games which means they're cheaper then and don't require the latest hardware.
I have a 360 with 4 games. I've had it for a year and bought a major game every 3 months and hire games in between. I have a friend who has bought 12 games in 2 months and hasn't touched half of them.

I'm in the Other Category I own 2 Current gen consoles planning on buying all three and a better PC, I also still play alot of Old School games from NES era - Current Gen So I dont really fit into any category.
i only have one current gen console by choice (ps3). i still enjoy retro games the most. thats why i have a saturn, jag, dreamcast, and i recently bought a PSP. i have 2 HDTV'S and 1 sound system. i dont really have the most expensive or highest rated items and i dont shop for it. i simply get the best deal i can find at the time. i share my purchasing money with my fiance so i have to budget wisely. im in the other catagory i guess.
I own all the systems, but rarely (actually I can't remember the last time I did....) pay full price for games. Very good consumer I would give myself.
