As the topic says, if you are a console gamer come on in, if you are a PC gamer, come on in. :)
For me, Im 100% console gamer.
I have 360 and PS3 for this gen.
How about you?

I am both a PC and a Console gamer, but PC gaming is my preference.Doom_HellKnight
same, how can you beat the pc really, even if you dont like M+K, you can get gamepads too.
By the end of this year i'll have a gaming PC + consoles. My PC is old now, the last great game it was able to play on high settings was Max Payne 2, so im building a brand new one this year for Crysis, Mass Effect, and the best one of all Alan Wake :).
I enjoy both equally btw.
i have a PC and all the consoles + handhelds. i play both types but i prefer the PC and spend most of my gaming time on it.
why? well i prefer the mouse and keyboard for most games. i can also configure and customise the PC to my hearts to content so i get the hardware i want. consoles are too restrictive in this regard. then theres the exclusives like the total war series and witcher (to name a few) which i greatly enjoy.

What is the main reason/s preferring PC much?
hmm well here, Ive done this list before so i got tired of making it in different threads (no offense) so there might be stuff missing from here
1. i can purchase and download ALL the games I want (AAA or not) online, no need to go to a store, nothing. i just click a button from the moment they let me preorder a game, (like frontlines fuel of war, cod4) and it will automatically download my game once its available.
My downloaded game will automatically update to the newest version without me even needing to tell it to (via Steam) and I will always have the latest version.
By buying my gmaes online, I send most of the money I spent to the developer instead of a retail store. I dont have to deal with arrogant clerks and I dont have to go to stores that shun PC gaming anyway, putting great pc games on the lowest shelves out of sight, or behind accounting and tax software.
2. the community, i know you heard this many times in many threads before, but im sorry i have to agree with the fact that there is a hell of a lot more diversity in online pc gaming community rather than consoles. ive been playing burnout paradise and every single online game i join theres always at least 3 idiots with their mics always on listening to distorted rap that sounds like the devil on my loud sound system. same goes for other mulitplayer console games ive played. on the other hand, when i join a tf2 server or cod4 server on pc, i never experience childish crap and everyone works as a team.
3. mods, no explanation needed.
4. i like being at the forefront of technology and advanced game design, i dont mind paying for upgrades that arent as expensive as fanboys say here.
5. i hate gaming on my tv, even with a 46" aquos 1080p screen, i have to squint sometimes to make out what the hell i am looking at (or where im going in burnout paradise), while my monitor has better and higher resolutions and more pixels per inch.
6. freedom, i am not forced to use a medium like xbox live or PSN, i can either use IRC, xfire, ventrilo, teamspeak, or do-it-all programs like GSC and Steam which are flawless.
7. free dlc, you usually never pay to download crap for games on pc.
8. pc gaming encourages clan/community-play, because of player/clan run servers on all multiplayer pc games
(there are many communities on steam with 20,000 members, 50,000 members, etc)
9. RTS and FPS Simulations are my main genres, and they honestly play better on PC.
10. PC peripherals, they just feel better, i have an x52pro HOTAS stick, and all kinds of gaming pc peripherals which i prefer over..a controller.
11. niche peripherals no one knows about but that are awesome: how many people here know what the TrackIR is? everyones excited over head-tracking on the Wii, while the same thing has been available on PC for a couple years now:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=_AO0F5sLdVM
12. more streamlined gameplay overall. isnt of planning to be on xbox live with friends and then coming up with a game to play, i can be in my clan's GSC channel 24/7 and at the click of a button we can all join favorite servers/the same server (20 to 30 of us) all te while having 24/7 voice channel support.
13. last but not least, mouse and keyboard. for the types of games i like to play (tactical FPS Ã la BF2, 2142, frontlines).. mouse keyboard and joystick are just superior 10fold in my opinion. i play warhawk in comparison to BF2/2142 and the game plays like a big fat joke. (not to mention the people on the goddamn mic ARGHH)
theres many more points i could list im sure but thats it for now.
i dont hate console gaming, just in my opinion its a time-killer if ive got nothing to do on PC. looking forward to mgs4 and LBP.
My preference usually fluctuates quite a bit, but right now I'm completely sucked into SoaSE, so PC for now.

Also Handhelds are Overrated:PUnrealSin_X
I disagree strongly on that point. My family takes lots of vacations, so they're a great thing to have around when you can't lug a console or PC across the country :). And there are some great games for'em too...

how so? just curious btw, you are entitled to your preferences of course.
PC+consoles here. Consoles are more comfortable and accessible in so many ways. By which I'm referring to various software and hardware complications.

He probably thinks all of that is too complicated.
