What made you hate Sony?

The price for the PS3 and PSP are major reasons that I'm not a fan. Why they don't have a non-Blu ray edition of the PS3 is beyond me? I like the PSP,but $200 U.S. is to steep price for something that I'd play when traveling, so I stick with the cheaper GBA.roulettethedog

What made it even worse was how they introduced the update that screwed the entire game up through an expansion pack that people payed good money for.

Because it would be pointless to have a non BR PS3 seeing as how the games are all on BR discs.

The single moment that made me hate Sony was when I went from NCAA05 to NCAA06 football.

Sony finally got it right with 06 and made a game that was responsive and played well, without the 90 yd td passes every other play, and then went back to the GRAPHICS whore mentality and ruined it.  I waited 5 years patiently with gameplay getting better, and then WHAM, backslide.

I officially declare SONY dead when they tried to pull the UMD BS on us and it is this tombstone of a Blu Ray playing crap of a console that they have released that will do them in.

its fans, from the PS1-early PS2 era. now i dont mind them, and i think the PS2 is an amazing console. PS3 should still be good once it gets out of the mess its in just now.

I don't hate them. Sure, the PS3 has been an industry joke so far (mostly with good reason), they've made some major PR blunders and whatnot, but are people really that quick to forget how great their previous 2 consoles are, and the contributions they made to gaming as a whole? On a side note, I think it's silly to think that ANY big corporation is infallible, moralistic or entirely trustworthy.

You ppl are going into an anti Sony rage but are forgetting the good parts as well, MS might have not done too much bad stuff on gaming but as a company it's another deal, and that could translate sooner or later, also Nintendo is playing all friendly now but look, they are just doing good recently and look at Reggie and all his fanboy claims, and I use to think he was cool.

wow, wow, guys. Yes sony is a r-tard company, but fighting about how bad it really is pointless. A more productive way of spending our time is laughing at the people who did buy a ps3, and still appreciate how it has been one of the 'the best investments of thier lifes'
