Played through it twice (Mario and Luigi) back to back. Never got bored. Always had a great time! If you are a platforming fan, get it now!

It's arguably the best 3d platformer ever made.

I'd say it surpassed sm64 on many levels.

Nothing.

I bought it a week ago and while it's good, it's just another SM64 that could have easily been made on Gamecube, including gameplay.

There are some flaws though:

-The camera is always in the wrong place, forcing you to do some tricky diagonal jumps and sometimes making you fall when the camera is positioned to show Mario in 2D.

-Some levels are badly designed.

-Most levels are too easy,

-Surf and ball controlling levels remind me how much I hate the Wiimote.

Still a good game though, but SM64 beats it in everyway possible and SMW beats both.

Those level are great, just need some practice methinks. Especially for when you get to the green star galaxy. I had a lot of fun playing through the ball stage. You can't fault the wiimote here; it's very well implemented on those stages.

Generic? No way.

Super Mario Galaxy introduces an awesome gravity system. Not only that but it's platforming perfection. Each level you go to is varied and there are so many environments and so much fun to be had. Plus, it's the best graphics for the system, and I would even say it looks next gen.

The only thing I didn't like about it was the boss fights (minus bowser). Funny you ask this, I'm playing the game right now.
