[QUOTE="haris12121212"][QUOTE="tylerdurden2621"]I dont really care for fighting games, but if I were to play one it certainly would not be brawl. There are some really cool looking fighting games that I have seen like virtua fighter and others like it. I would much rather play a game with that looks more realistic. I cant really rag on brawl, because I haven't played any of the games in the series that much, but from what I have played I really dont understand whats so great. I have a wii but I highly doubt I get this game.cablemodemx2
It's the contrary bro. If you don't like fighting games in general (Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur) Then you must play SSBB if you are looking to get into a fighting game. SSBB = pure fun and the fighting system is far from being button mashing or lame.
Agreed, if you don't like real fighting games, like the ones mentioned, SSBB may be more to your liking.
SSBB plays far differently than any other fighting game. You don't have the massive button input combos, just a few dozen simple moves. However, whereas other fighters keep you fairly close to the ground, and force you to keep facing your opponent, SSBB gives you huge freedom of movement, and it is an incredibly fast paced game. Me and my brother were playing one on one the other day, showing a bunch of our friends how to really play, and one of my friends just paused the game and told everyone to listen to the clacking of our controllers :P.
