What new Wii U game announcement sold you on the system?

Not counting the games we already knew about, or the games that Nintendo confirmed were in development today, but wouldn't talk more about, which new Wii U game announcement today sold you on the system the most? Was it Yoshi's Land? Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem? The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD? Or was it X?

Wind Waker is my favorite game of all time, seeing it in glorious HD made me go weak in the knees. Seeing X was just the final straw, for the first time, we were shown something truly impressive on Wii U, something that really does look next gen.

What about you guys?

I've calmed down since this morning, so nothing yet. Gonna wait like 5 years to get one, once it has a solid library and a few price drops. Just like the Wii.

Where's the option for everything announced?

I was already getting one this year but now I'm incredibly excited. If I had to pick one of the games, I'd say Project X.

pikmin 3 did it last year. All this stuff as well as The Wonderfull 101, Rayman Legends and Bayonetta 2 is just overkill at this point

Wind Waker and the thought of the new Zelda, as nervous as I am about it :P.

Right now my hype list is probably...

Wind Waker U (Awesome update and it sounds like we will get more than just graphics from it)

X (I hope they do sideqests and such better in this. Regardless, the graphics and hopefully better facial animations will do wonders)

Yoshie's Yarn (I hope its harder than KEY and yoshie's Story

Pikmin 3 (Still need to play my copy of Pikmin 2 to see if I care)

W101 (Could be amazing or awful)

Bayonetta (Never played 1)

SMT x FE (depends if it is lacking overworld and such like FE)

Plus if I buy a WiiU soon I will definitely get NSMBU (any other must owns?) and I am obviously really lookign forward to the new Zelda, Mario kart, Mario, and Smash.

For me it was Zelda but I was going to end up getting a Wii later anyway just because of Nintendo's 1st party alone. I'm also looking forward to playing Mario Kart and Smash Bros on Wii U because it's online service is very good, it's the same as PSN and XBL (except for no cross game chat).

Also Fire Emblem is so addictive I won't be able to pass that up.

None, if the project X game was a gundam game I'd definitely get the Wii U eventually.

I was already sold on it before this.

I'm very low on the wiiu right now but I think that Monolith Soft game could sell me on the system. It looks like an open, free experience combined with the depth of an RPG, and done in a very different way than Bethesda. Inspiring. Also, hopefully by the time this game is out the system itself will have numerous upgrades like in the gamepad battery and hard drive size.

I already owned a Wii U so nothing sold me on the system per say, but Wind Waker cured my buyers remorse.layton2012

People whine about nintendo always releasing the same games, but to me they never release enough of them during a gen. I want more than one(mario,zelda, metroid, dk...) game a gen.

ps: very disappointed by the lack of Metroid news(not even a mention of a game being in development), such an under utilized series. :/

Definetly Zelda: WW and the upcomming new Zelda I'm already hyped about it without even video footage. I simply trust Nintendo when it comes to Zelda.
Also Monolith Soft new game... Xenoblade I recall, looks freakin awesome. Bayonetta 2 is also pretty nice.. Just can't wait for these games to come out so I can buy a Wii U.

But damn ZELDA... that's what I was waiting all this time from Nintendo.

Nope, Wind Waker is the worst Zelda ever made. I'd rather play the CD-I games, because at least I'd get a laugh out of them.

Xenoblade 2 or Project X. Loved Xenoblade

SMT x FE is made by Intelligent Systems and I can't remember when I disliked a game of theirs. Plus I love both franchises.

An online service that charges you for P2P gaming and the only difference is cross game chat. And a dashboard that uses you for ad space that blocks your themes.

For sake of argument, ill take the collective critic opinion over yours, who agree that the 360 library is superior. The online service has numerous social features that make it more connected. And since thats what online gaming is all about, its better. The controller is more ergonomic, that is fact. The dashboard is more intuitive, that is fact.

I already have one but I did like X (Monolith Soft's new title) I don't it would be named X because Nintendo already has a series by that name (X and X-Scape) for the GB and DSiware respectively.

So it will likely be titled something else.

I'm also interested in Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem (I like Fire Emblem).

If the new Yoshi is as good as Yoshi's Island or atleast as good as I remember Yoshi's Story I would like it get it.

1 Zelda game. TP is a gamecube game plain and simple. The controls on the wii sucked aside from aiming. Skyward Sword was a big letdown (though good game) for me, and WWU is already probably a better Zelda lineup in my opinion. X already looks better than Xenoblade (will reserve judgement), And it wont be hard for them to beat Mario kart Wii, Which sucks. I think smash bros needs a facelift and good online (which will happen), NSMBU > NSMBWii, Pikmin 3 > nothing, and then there are other possibly great titles from third party studios like Bayonetta 2 and W101, as well as the FE x SMT mashup.

Man, they all looked great. :) Happy to own one. Just a quick question, though: Which ones are coming to PeeC- Oh, none of them are? The master race is missing out on these awesome titles? That's... sad. :lol:

So your argument is that because a lot of people say something (which in this case isn't even proven) it means it's true? What you're saying is that "the opinions of others are my opinions".
