Of course ive made my own opinion. What I'm saying is that my opinion holds more weight because gaming journalism in general agrees with me, not you. According to metacritic, the 360 has the better library. You might prefer the PS3s, good for you.
BTW, ergonomics isn't subjective, nor is UI intuitivity or ease of use. Those are facts, I suggest you do some research ;)

Uhhh. Yeah. Sort if is. I find the PS3 UI much more intuitive. The PS3 controller I also find superior. So now what?
Now we can objectively measure loading times, for which I find the XBOX achievements load much faster, and sometimes moving from game to menu is faster on 360 (where the PS3 might lag a little more going from game to menu). Those things are measurable. But how "intuitive" it is completely subjective, I much prefer the straightforward and clear menu of the PS3 to the cluttered mess of tiles the 360 uses.
Its not. Ease of use and intuitivity can actually be measured as well. Such as, how many button presses it takes to perform a whole manner of tasks. The 360 UI is definitely more intuitve, and that is fact. Irregardless of what you or I actually prefer (or are used to)
Same goes for the controller, ergonomics is measured. Its universally accepted that the 360 controller fits more comfortably in the hand than the dualshock (unless you're some sort of freak like shadow or gamerwilz)
LOL. The 360 dashboard is an absolute mess. I actually think its less button presses to launch a game on PS3, and you can sort your gameslist more effectively on PS3. My only beef with the PS3 is alot of stuff happens in the background on the 360 much faster, whereas you have to "load" them on the PS3 (i.e. waiting for your trophy images to load takes longer, waiting for the tiles for your game list takes alot longer on PS3). That part of it is definitely better ingegrated into the 360 system and just "smoother" overall. However if we are just talking about UI and navigating menus, then what you are saying is completely stupid and backwards. Not only is it not "fact", you actually have it completely backwards from reality. The 360 UI is a cluster$@%^ that is not intuitive at all, whereas the PS3 is a breeze. If stuff actually loaded on the PS3 faster, it would blow away the 360 and not even be close. As it stands, the "User Interface" on the whole is highly a matter of preference. It "works" better on the 360, but because of horrendous and cheap aesthetics of the 360, many people probably prefer the more contemporary and simpler PS3 UI.
The PS3 controller, other than the analog triggers, is superior to the 360 controller in every measurable way. The PS3 controller has analog face button, the 360 lacks analog face buttons. The PS3 has built in lithim-ion batteries. The 360 you have to either use AA batteries or buy a bulky "play and charge" kit. The rumble function is also inferior on the 360, ironic considering the launch PS3's even lacked rumble. In fact, the only measures where you can say the 360 controller is actually better, are the subjective ones (i.e the old "it fits better in my hands" routine). It's by the objective measures thatt he PS3 controller is better. I actually find them both to be relatively similar. I just find it funny when people overstate the importance of controllers, but especially when they 360 users knock the Dualshock 3. The only way a person can knock the other controller, is if they are only used to playing with that controller. It is an adjustment to go from the 360 controller to the PS3 controller, just as it is an adjustment to go from the 360 controller the Dualshock 3. But once that adjustmenet is made they are basically the same (other than the specific features that the 360 controller is actually lacking compared to the DS3)
