Hmm... it would have to be the announcements of: Battlefront 3, Battlefield 3, LoZ Wii, and inFamous 2. Along with the release dates for Portal 2 and GT5.

A redesigned 360, PGR5 or ace combat 7 announcement would do me fine

The Last Guardian demo,Agent gameplay vids or even just some screens,and an official release date for GT5. And Im also curious to see how the 3DS is. Really hoping its not a gimmick.

News/Releases I would look forward to:

• Release date for GT5
• Devil May Cry 5 is in the works
• The Last Guardian coming this year
• Info on Rockstar's 'Agent'

And even know I know it will never happen: A remake or sequel to The Legend of Dragoon

Announce Serious Sam III and give more info on Battlefield 3 and I'll be a happy camper.

You can turn off 3D on 3DS, that's confirmed. This fact alone tells you that it's not going to be a gimmick, even if the 3D is bad.

No, the fact that 3D is not full integrated and and can be turned off, proves that it is a gimmick. The same thing goes for touch screens. Developers won't need to use them intuitively and will just put a game in "stunning 3D" to help sales. This is why the Wii and DS are not truly revolutionary, they are succesfull systems, but they have not replaced the need for classic controlers. Look at Move...they are only making that to get some of Wiis market.

This is what Nintendo has been doing since the Wii and DS were announced. It's why they are making so much money. The games on there gaming systems are mostly lackluster so they add a gimmick to push sales. It's a classic business plan. Gimmicks sell.

All I want is Gears 3 and Zelda gameplay.

First, no announcements on the eighth generation; I'm just getting started with the current generation. ;)

Second, some interesting looking new IPs across all consoles; pretty sure it's gonna be sequel after sequel for the most part though. Of course, I would be interested in seeing the progression for Mass Effect 3 and the new Legend of Zelda game for the Wii.
