what pc games should make a console gamer want to get a powerful gaming pc?

What upcoming pc games should make a console gamer want to get a powerful gaming pc? Are the multiplats that much better on a powerful gaming pc? Im thinking of saving up money for a gaming pc so by the time windows 8 and directx12 comes out I could get those.

What kind of games do you like?

Upcoming? Battlefield 3, Metro: Last Light, ARMA 3, STALKER 2, RO2, Futuremark's new game. That is what i can think of off the top of my head that have been announced.

EDIT: Guild Wars 2, Risen 2, Far Cry 3 and Arkham City will probably look a good deal better on PC as well.

Playing the witcher 2 atm, and it looks pretty amazing.

Hell even playing old games like F.E.A.R. Doom 3 and Half Life 2 at 1080p and 60fps with anti aliasing makes it worth it to get a gaming pc. Your eyes will thank you. :>

Back to Karkand isn't a launch day thing. It comes out later. The Physical Warfare thing is day 1 though.
