It's not bad IMO it's just not worth the money for what u are getting.
250$ for technology from 1999
No thanks.
Maybe once it's 5$ I'll pick one up.

Not a single game I am even remotely interested in.
Present or Future.
I've already got a PS3 and a 360 why do I need a Wii?

Could 1999 technology do this...
I haven't played it in a long time. I want more "must buy" games. Metroid Prime 3 finally came out though. That's good.MADVLAD123
What do you consider a must buy game...

Don't even try, you can give them a list of 100 good games but they will disregard every one with one of these comments:
"Casual lol"
"bad graphix"
"2 kiddy"
I think you should be asking the reasons why we like the Wii.Ragnarok1051
I have seen much more wii hate than hype around here...
novel idea, great price, but where are the games, there is only like maybe 4 or 5 at the most I'd be interested in right now
I don't see the hype
course I think the only other reason it's selling other than the price is parents buying it for their kids, worried about m rated games getting slapped in their faces

No but the gamecube could.
And I've already own and played Super Mario Sunshine already.
Why is SMG so special?

Good job changing your argument after being proven wrong...
People could use any of these reasons:
Weakest library at this time(comparing each systems total AAAs, AAs, etc...)
Weakest Hardware( loosing out on things like graphics, physics, map size, etc...)
Weakest Online( at this time it only has a few online games, and Friends code isnt really a plus)
weakest 3rd party support( missing out on multiplats that are available on all other consoles)
I own one, I like to play RE4 on it. I see 5 games total that interest throughout the console's whole lifespan. white_sox
And those are...
[QUOTE="MADVLAD123"]I haven't played it in a long time. I want more "must buy" games. Metroid Prime 3 finally came out though. That's good.FlockofSpagheti
What do you consider a must buy game...
Halo 3, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Mass Effect, Half Life 2: Orange Box, Assassin's Creed, UT3, GTAIV, COD4, etc.
Or games like Resistance, Gears of war, Oblivion, Bioshock, Forza 2 and all those successful games that are out.
THOSE are must buy games. The games on the wii don't feel like must-buy games to me. The only one was Zelda: Twilight Princess (which I loved) and Resident Evil 4 (cuz I never played it before). That was it.
wii is really a mini game system, some good ones, but it's really for people who don't know jack about GOOD video games, now you'll get your classic nintendo stuff like mario, zelda and metroid, but the rest of this stuff for wii, is bargain bin games
most of these games are not worth full price

Nope 1999 was when Gamecubes GPU/CPU was being developed by Nintendo.

Dude how is the third party support the weakest... it has the mostqualitythird party exclusives by far... also the Wii library when you compare total scores from Gamespot (which I usually do not do) is better than the PS3 lineup...

I wouldn't say it has the best third party, but there are a lot of games going ignored because they are not hyped.
No More Heroes
Dewy's Adventure
Zack and Wiki
Guitar Hero 3
Rock Band

Motion sensing is a bad thing? I think it's a very good thing. Which is what seperates us. Wii is an acquired taste, sort of.

5.King Story (2008) -- Cing; Town Factory, Marvelous Interactive (Previously known as Project O, King Story is a life and city management simulation in the vein of SimCity, in which the player takes control of a medieval European town's mayor. Building relationships with citizens is a key gameplay element; the developers have explained that, for example, a player might tell a character to perform a task, after which he will "go off and talk to several other people, who will then start to change the world around the player." The player's city grows over time, starting as a village and working its way up to a town, a city and onward. Non-player characters have their own lives, performing their daily routines such as eating, sleeping and going to work, and making conversation with other non-player characters. In addition, non-player characters have memories, and will react differently depending on things that have happened during the game. Unlike World Neverland--the director's previous game--the artificial intelligence behind King Story's non-player characters will be different for each profession.)

The Wii has the worst library by far, and it certainly doesn't take strength from its third party exclusives (which are generally awful). Even the PS3 has a better library.
Here's some Gamerankings stats for you.
Xbox 360: 8 AAAs, 45 AAs
PS3: 1 AAA, 13 AAs
Wii: 2 AAAs, 5 AAs

If were talking exclusives, the Wii has the better line up, the PS3 has a bunch of multi plats, sports games and what not, that the 360 has as well, not impressive.
