What Shooter will we still be playing NEXT October??

Every november, many shooters come out, and usually most fall away withing a few months/weeks, but there are always one or two that have the staying power to stick around until the next November or beyond. These are shooters like Gears of War, Resistanc, Halo 3, or Call of Duty 4.

So, which shooter coming out in the next few weeks will remain at the top 1 Year from now?

Contenders

• Gears 2: For better or worse, its more Gears
• CoD:WaW: Made by Treyarch, may not be as good as "third installment Infinity Ward S***, dont soil your drawers, cuz its deep and its hard b***h.
• Resistance 2: More Resisntance, WAY More. (hopefully less derivative)
• Far Cry 2: Open World Shooter, hopefull the MP holds up

Probably R2,WaW COD5 sucks because treyarch is making them..not infity Ward :(

The first gears released in '06, and many people still play it 'til this day.

I could see Gears 2 being played for a LONG time.(Resistance 2 as well.)

I played Gears of War and RSV until Halo 3 came out. So there is a good chance I might play it until next year.

Farcry 1(pc and the xbox version) campaign was good, but I wasn't a fan of the mp. Probably be the same with Farcry 2.

CoD3 had a decent good campaign, but I didn't like playing the mp. However I thought the mp was better than what Farcry had to offer.

The campaign for R1 was decent, but I wasn't a fan of their mp games. I don't know what to expect with Resistance 2 due to the changes they made. Looks like they improved a lot from R1.

Where is Left 4 Dead?

I plan on playing that constantly for at least two years.

You guys will be playing and loving whatever generic shooter comes out. You've been doing it this whole gen and I doubt it will change next year.

I think you guys will buy as many of these titles as your system will allow you to and they all will sell an insane amount of copies... except for the PC edition.
