but dont blow $1800 on a PC. Buy a $900 PC now, and upgrade it in a few years.

and snag a ps3 or 360 since they are dirt cheap.

With that kind of money you said you had last month, who cares? You could afford them all.

You could get all 3 if you build the PC, if not you still can probably buy a good gaming PC(there are companies that sell custom ones for good prices) and one of the two consoles.

I am going to have to agree with steam sales. I just don't know how steam does it. their prices on lot of the these games are ridiculously low. And that just getting started lol. Then you have those Mega bundle deals that just make you want to say how is this possible. Just how does steam does it?. Most importantly how on earth do they stay in business lol.

The real questions is.. what type of games are you really interested in playing?

There's something seriously strange about the TC. He now posts on the AU board and is asking the same questions he did here. People answer him, but he asks again. And again. And again. He pretends to be absolutely clueless about everything.

I don't think his $1800 is real and I doubt he's completely serious. No-one is this clueless. No-one.
