Poll What should I play next!? (27 votes)
A short while ago I made a thread about how I am going to try playing one game at a time. So far, I am really enjoying this new approach as it allows me to focus on one game, and encourages me to finish them, too. In that spirit, I thought it might be kind of nice to get recommendations from you fine folks as I get going on my next time when I finish my current one.
So I am coming towards the end of Avowed (I think), and really enjoyed my time with it. With that said, the game was a bit longer than expected and while initially I was going to replay the game as a different play-style, I was thinking might be a good idea to try something different.
Right now, the options I am considering are:
- Avowed: second playthrough. My first playthrough was all melee; I did the first bit sword and shield, the second bit two-handed, then swapped back to sword and shield for the last bit. Thinking of going some sort of rogue-mage build for my second playthrough, dodging around with spells and a wand to blast enemies.
- Pillars of Eternity 1: the first Obsidian RPG set in the same IP as Avowed, it might be a good continuation of a game world I really enjoy. On top of that, it would also be good because I tend to get a bit bored with old-school RPG's, but as I am focusing on one game at a time, this would allow me to focus on the game and complete it.
- Indiana Jones: I got about 4-6 hours into this game but gave it up for the whole "one game at a time" thing I adopted recently. Not sure how long the game is, but if it's only 10 or so hours it might be a good idea to finish this one up.
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: definitely going to finish this at some point, but it was just a bit too big for me to make as my main game when I had so many alternatives to play when this game sort of felt like "work" at times.
