What Sony needs is a PS3 ''Lite''?

Seriously people around here are egomaniacs to think the opinion they hold is what the entire gaming populace holds.
Most people agree with me, such as review sites and sales. The PS3 this holiday is going to sell worse than any GameCube holiday season.
PS3 has like 5 games worth buying, MGS4, Uncharted, LBP, R&C and.... that's pretty much it, for $399. No wonder it failed.
Sells show how popular a game is, not how good. And anything that scores a 70+ can be considered good so you're wrong again. :lol:

MS didnt rush anything to the market, RROD was a design flaw with the gpu, which nvidia had problems with also. They didnt take into consideration certain heating problems and when the metals expanded things broke after a while. Now this could be easily fixed if they design a new video card but you cant do that with a standardized system. Same with what someone mentioned that there is a 40 nm cell. You cant just slap that into a ps3, they actually stripped down the PPC part so it wouldn't cost so much, but they could take that 40nm fabrication process and redesign the cell to the exact same specification. You have to redesign something and make sure it works perfectly to the same spec which is probably a lot harder. MS I think cares about its fan base more since that werent using their fanbase to force a win in the format war, instead they asked developers what they needed to make a great system and and did a great job at really integrating the online and achievements into every game.The only devs developing exclusives is Sony. There's like 3 third party exclusives for the PS3, and they aren't high profile except for MGS4. Sony can't even keep Tekken or Final Fantasy exclusive.

Yes, actually it is. The only reason Sony still has it is because of Blu-ray. PS3 has lost tons of money, and it is selling poorly. Sony's hope in Blu-ray is the only reason it's still around.
Dead Rising is not 360 exclusive neither is Bioshock that's on PS 3 lol neither is Gears of War that's on PC Viva Pinata is not exclusive either lol Saints Row is not exclusive also it's in PS 3 and PC Fable also is on PC.
Sony has the best games and quality it doesnt have a machine that scratches disks and break if it gets hot lol

METAL GEAR SOLID 4, GOD OF WAR 3, UNCHARTED 1 and 2, KILLZONE 2, RESISTANCE 2, TWISTED METAL, GRAN TURISMO 5, FINAL FANTASY VS, HAZE, SOCOM CONFRONTATION, LITTLE BIG PLANET, MOTORSTORM 1 and 2, RIDGE RACER, Red Dead Revolver 2, WIPEOUT PS 3, TIME CRISIS 4, LA NOIR, inFAMOUS and many more exclusives not on the 360 not to mention the Blue Ray and the fact that the PS 3 works and you will never have to bring it back to the stores also u wont have disks scratching on the PS 3.

eah, too bad the PS3 has the weakest line up in console history (this includes the 3DO). Uncharted is the only game worth playing on the PS3.
lol this makes me laugh did you forget MGS 4 is game of the year :) lol it's line up cripples the 360 and why does 360 not have games for 09 it just gave up.
Don't need to post links, if Sony cared so much about gaming they wouldn't have made the PS3 so expensive. They wouldn't have lost so many exclusives. They saw the success of PS2's DVD player and tried to recreate it with Blu-ray. Because of this, the PlayStation's 2008 holiday season will be the worst holiday season since Sega's Dreamcast. But Sony doesn't seem to mind, and they aren't doing a price drop, why? Because to them they have 18 million Blu-ray players out there, not 18 million PlayStation 3's. Blu-ray is their main selling point for PS3. 85% of Blu-ray players are PS3s.
Sony cares about it's fan because it gave us the most high tech machine available with blue ray and made sure it's product is reliable it did not rush the machine into stores to get money and screw the consumers like micrososft did instead what do you have to pay for broken scratched up disk and a whole bunch of RROD well at least you can sue microsoft and try to get your money back so you can buy a PS 3
