8.5-9.5 due to this new rating system. The most likely reasonable would be 9.0 for highest rating, but if Gamespot wants to go far enough it could be 9.5
Then again, we could be seeing another TP here with this game. So 8.5 is also in the possiblities.

New gamespot rating system? SO is there no way for Bioshock to get a 10, then since Gamepsot is very strict to hell with game reviews...Halo 3 is maybe 9.5 or 9.0...

Gamespots reviews have been professional irrelevant since they were busted rigging graphical comparisons between the PS3 and 360 late last year/early this year (Madden '07).

I'd go farther and say it could be a 1 point spread. 8.5 - 9.5 It all depends on the mood of the reviewer and what they want out of the game.
yeah thats what i think. If i had to be exact probably 9.0, 8.5 would be considered major floppage and 9.5 is probably too high in the eyes of gamespot reviewers.

coming from the sony boy here. Halo 1 deserved an 8.0. lmao i hope ur kidding. you just sound ignorant. the halo's are great games no one is debating it. just live your life. stop crying over halo. seriously. the halo bashing is so old on this forum its getting ridiculous.
lets look at it this way. if the halo series has a consistent decline, and the third is worse than halo 2, then it will get about a 9.1, which isnt possible on todays GS ranking system. I say this since Halo 1 = 9.7, Halo 2 = 9.4 so Halo 3 = 9.1. Obviously, this is assuming the third is worse than the second, which Bungie already said they had not done what they wanted with Halo 2. So, assuming Halo 3 is worse than Halo 2 (which is extremely unlikely), it will get a 9.0 here which is AAA and basically fine with me. But, realistically people, it will get 9.5.
