People get excited about new releases and discuss it, like what they like about it etc. A game as hyped as Starfield just has more players discussing it. Not sure why you're so salty at that. Getting angry at gamers because they like a game that isn't on your system of choice is not cool.

Seriously though, even fitness subscriptions there is only a very small amount of people that actually go. Let alone Netflix and Game pass which are entertainment subs after all.

@ermacness: Even if it didnt flop here Clown Cows would still call it a flop. See Halo for example.
That’s because a part of Halo Infinite did flop. The campaign got a 9, but the multiplayer received a 6 or a 7. So depending on what part of Halo Infinite we’re talking about makes cows wrong or right.

I might be memeing on dat 7/10 Starfield, but i will be playing it 100%, while NMS you couldn't even pay me to play that trash indie game with a fugly art direction.
That's too bad. No Man's Sky is a masterpiece. Maybe the best game of the past two generations. If you bought it at launch and never played it again, I'm sorry you fell for the day 1 curse, but there is no game out right now with better sustaining content and constant changes than NMS. it's brilliant on every level.

Actually no, i never felt for the hype because from the second it was announced, all it reminded me off of is Spore, with the same kind of incredibly ugly aesthetic. Only tried it when they began fixing the game, and absolutely despised my experience. I am all about space exploration, probably even my favorite genre, but NMS looks like a cheap game made for kids, with all the over saturated colors and that moblie looking art direction.
if they gave it a realistic art direction similar to Mass Effect, a proper story, characters and quests, i'd be interested, but i ain't touching something that looks like a mobile game from 2018.
Starfield is the second game iv ever refunded on Steam. Wasnt expecting a great deal from it in the first place but it still left me feeling dissapointed. The game is crap.
