that game looks rough. All the animations are the same that the show has had for years. the framerate also goes to shit any time they do close ups
agreed. the graphics are a little better but animations and faces arent what i was expecting. they dont even have toe taps done correctly for a lot of players
that said, i love the game and some of the new changes to rtts are a welcome change

We were just discussing yesterday how unimpressive the PS4 version is. It's likely going to be much better next year. At least you'd certainly hope it will look better.

Yup watched it. That is why i say most of the comparisons fail. If you watch all the video it has a ton of fail in it. Did you watch all of it?
you should watch the comparison video, it'll be easier for you to take this backfire in good system wars spirit.
Did it twice. Those graphics really scream next gen. But then again we are going from a $600 PS3 to a $400 PS4.

15 tracks, no day-night or weather cycles and the worst looking fans ever seen in a game. Not impressive at all. It can only run a ugly ass game like Titanfall at 792p which is pathetic.

I don't get it, in many instances in the video the PS4 version looks better. What was the point? Are you trying to say the PS4 version is graphically worse? Or just that it's not a substantial enough upgrade from the PS3 version? Lost of those shot by shot comparisons might look better just because of their framing, for instance in one shot there's just not very interesting background of the close up shot, and in the other there's a crowd, they're obviously two different fields, and I imagine that'll change things like lighting and the helmets reflective surface.
About the only shocking moment in the video comparison was at 1:11 when you see the training net for the PS3 and PS4 version, in this instance the PS4 version raised an eyebrow, mainly that the training net's netting seems too wide to contain the ball, looked more like a cargo net... is that not normal? I'm not sure.

WTF is up with that install/data download time the first time you pop the disk in? It took over an hour for me to actually play the game. As for the graphics some players look better than others. Overall its a good step up but not as jaw dropping as NBA 2K14. The crowd looks great except why aren't they watching the action? On replays they are cheering and jumping up and down but aren't even facing where the play is. That's a little nit picky I admit, but when games are trying to look real, things like this can be jarring. I haven't noticed too many frame drops. The animations all look pretty good
I haven't played enough yet to give it a score or anything. Maybe this weekend.....
