What the latest news on UT3 for 360?

Did anybody even care about this game on PS3 and PC? I was really looking forward to this game on PC but it left a UT2003 taste in my mouth.

Does it run as well as the PS3 version? Any links to news about it?Baurus_1

That's where it's at. Microsoft doesn't want to allow mods because they are focused on microtransactions. Unless MS gives the okay to Epic for Mods no UT3 on X360.

Honestly you wouldn't want UT3 without mods that's what UT is all about. Some of the mods are awesome so far. I played a cool lego mod on PS3 recently.

I don't think a lot of people were interested by the game. It solds more on the pc than the ps3. The so-so sale of the ps3 version are surprising considering this is the first game to support mod on a console, but I think people realize how mod on the ps3 are only gimmick since it's require a strong computer to simply make them and pc and ps3 mod are not compatible.

Even when its one of the most fun games available now, I never played the UT franchise before it, so I dont know about the whole "its the same as the other games" dispute, but on its own, for people who've never played it, its extremely fun and addicting. The mods are basically essential, they make the game 100% more fun.

I'm pretty sure Epic will be issuing a fix for it, Epic is has always supported their customers in the past. I'm guessing when they release their first map pack for UT3 the fix will be included.

360 isn't getting it. Microsoft won't let it happen. There I said it. No release date means no UT3 for X360.

I have not followed any UT3 news so if it still does not have a release date at this point you could easily be right.

If it can't support chat then it will definately not come out, it's required by XBL.

the mod support isnt very good on either platform...the game wasnt popular enought on the PC to warrent a strong mod community, and their have been compatibility issues with the PS3 version with some of the more complex material.cobrax25

It's only been out since december and their are over 70+ maps available thru mods, some are really really good. I personally haven't had any problems with the PS3 support. Mods I'd highly recommend are the over the shoulder view like gears of war, lego map mod with destructible environments and the jet pack mod is a lot of fun.

How would you know you own neither a PS3 or UT3? Just did a search and it does indeed seem to work for a lot of people. I'll give it a shot. Either way Epic will fix it. At least we can play the game unlike Bully on your X360 right?

Bully runs fine btw, I just found the boxing mini game. Good game but you can tell it's a port.
