curb your enthusiasm, it would be a rpg in which you play as larry david and the aim of the game is to get through to the end of the day without upsetting anybody.

upset someone and its game over. the levels would also be randomly generated like diablo 2.

[QUOTE="Some-Mist"]even though we got deadly premonition, I wouldn't mind another twin peaks inspired game.Sun_Universe

Alan Wake?

ehhh, not exactly. The setting in alan wake is somewhat similar, but that's about it. Deadly Premonition really hit the nail on the head in terms of the humor. I guess I just wanna see another deadly premonition lol.

I'd love to see an open world game for Supernatural. You go around America doing "jobs" (hunting different monsters). You'd need to figure out what you're up against and what the best way to take it down is. Main story missions would be major events from the show like "Skin" (the first shapeshifter episode) and there would be lots of side jobs along the way to do. It could work if done properly.

Fringe or The X-Files. I'm not sure how, but I can think of some cool concepts.

[QUOTE="cfstar"]How come no one has a made Firefly inspired game is beyond me.brickdoctor

I've always thought so too! It could kind of be like Mass Effect but with more small scale, personal stories. It'd be sweet to walk around the Serenity like it's the Normandy and choose planets to fly off to and make money. I think the only reason it hasn't happened is because Fox cancelled it and nobody would think it's marketable enough.

Mhm. And that is what i can't understand about devs, so unwilling to take a few risks. I mean, f*cking Witcher, a game based on a book series that only about 0.5% of the world outside of Europe knows about, managed to be a succesful RPG series, being PC exclusive(At first, anyway). If that managed to do well, anything, so long as it's good, can do well.

Not a TV series but Blade Runner would make a great game if it's by a talented dev.

Can't think of any series though.

Ew, no. A slow burning, character driven drama would not translate well into a video game at all.

Supernatural would make a pretty good setting for an Alan Wake/RE 4 type game. Plus the Impala is oh so sexy.

Firefly would be awesome if someone could get the crew talking to other right, and we pretend Serenity never happened.

Twin Peaks is a given

. Battlestar Galactica, specifically like a Rogue Squadron game. Except instead of x-wings, it's the vipers and stuff.

The stuff that made Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Dead Wood, and The Wire amazing goes beyond stuff an action game could pull off. Because the sheer thought of the gaming industry trying to pull of a dramatic sequences with half the emotion, the intensity, or the nuances of what those shows do on TV is laughable.

Boardwalk Empire would work pretty well, you could start off as some low level thug and eventually end up a big time booze peddler.

There were 2 X Files games already.

There was a Blade Runner point and click game released in the late 90's. For a more action orientated (and alien) spin, you could look at Prey 2 which is apparently still in development.

1. Carnivake (so underrated, could be a good game with the right dev)

2. Deadwood (Classic Wester, yes please!)

3. The Shield (Have it like Police Quest!)

A game in the time period would be quite cool, a game based on the show would be a bad idea.
