Mainly Action adventures and JRPGS. I play pretty much any genre though apart from MMOs, racers and sports games that arent FIFA.
anything... but my go to genre is shmups. Sort of followed by point-and-click adventures. been building up my shmup arcade PCB collection tho.Some-Mist
Shit, i wish i'd have the money to buy the original arcade machines and just put them all in my garage.Â
Tho i do have a arcade 'machine' i built my self quite some time ago from a old PC and a CRT monitor, using MAME, arcade sticks and a old wood desk. I still got nothing decorated on the wood, i might as well do something about that.Â
I play hardcore games on the hardest setting., Hard Reset, Painkiller, SS3. Darksouls. Shadow Warrior.
Games trying hard to be movies rather than games are shite.

That just means you've never played Burnout 3: Takedown and F-Zero GX.Â
I had one F-zero game on SNES I think, not sure what it was called. I also played a shit ton of Mario Kart back in the days. But haven't owned a Ninty system since 64 and no other system makes fun racers :P
My favourite racers! :D (also Forza 4/Horizon and some form of Mario Kart!)locopatho
My holy trinity of racing games are Burnout 3: Takedown, F-Zero GX and Outrun 2. All of them are pure arcade, all of them are filled to the brim with content and all of them are.., hell, i can't even express in words how much fun they are.Â

I'm not a fan of racing games either, but oh man.. you are missing out.Â
mostly strategy games especially slow paced ones like civilization series and sins of a solar empire. But i do play Fps and Rpg's as well  and the occasional racing or 2d paltform game (

No cabinet unfortunately, but the PCBs are original arcade boards. Mine range from $200-450 a piece, but some of the ones I want that I'll never get are in the $1200-1500 area. Luckily all of them get a lot of use and maintain their value if not increase over time. I use a supergun setup with a NEC XM29 computer monitor (literally the best monitor for anything retro) and my wooden analogue neo-geo stick[spoiler]Please Log In to post.
