What was Gamespot's worst review?

What was Gamespot's worst review? This is not a thread to completley hate on Gamespot, the last thing we need is a locked thead, this is simply a thead to post whay you think was Gamespot's worst review. I expect that I will see a lot of Skyward Swords on this thead, I haven't played the game so I can't judge it.

I personally think that Gamespot's worst review was the Duke Nukem Forever review, for fvck sake Kevin VanOrd, it's not meant to be Metal Gear Solid 4 or Mass Effect 2 or any of those games that don't no what gameplay is. Duke Nukem Forever is FUN, it's not meant to be up to date, and that's a good thing, because older games didn't worry as much about a story.

The part that bugged me most on that review:

He calls the game one handed friendly since characters can slowly attack when you just run over to the enemies. Nevermind the fact that when you TRY to do that, you'll easily get killed (especially up against bosses) and without hitting the attack button, you won't get faster strikes in close quarters. On top of the fact that two characters have better shooting than they do close quarters.

I mean, seriously. Did we PLAY the right game?

I'd say inFAMOUS 2.

nah, it's better in every single aspect except maybe story. nobody plays infamous for the story...

the game is a solid 8.5.

mass effect for me... i can see being slightly irritated about performance stutters, but the sheer content, presentation and attention to this new universe is faaaaar beyond the 8.5 score it recieved.

and I disagree about assassins creed guys, its a 9 in my book. i thought that review perfectly nailed that game

Both the Skyward Sword and inFAMOUS 2 reviews. Both had instances in which Mcshea proved he didn't know how to play these games. He couldn't figure out Zelda's controls and he forgot how to heal himself in inFAMOUS (no Mcshea, you don't have to wait 20 seconds for the screen to return to normal)...

These were each the best first party offerings for their respective systems.

Duke Nukem Forever, I played the game 1 week out before the review came (Europe release). I remember that kevin told alot of lies in the review. Minor lies about the game. But still if you review a game then you tell the fact about it.

He tried to be funny, at moments I griffed for a sec, after all it was a bad review.

Imo MGS4's review was also bad.

Tom McShea should have been fired after the Skyward Sword review.

He had wrong opinions, false facts, and then deceived the community with cover-up crap, and criticized the game for not being something the Legend of Zelda franchise never even was!

Even after editing the review, he still got the motion control issue and other things wrong. Another example? There are SEVEN dungeons, not six like he has in his review. And no, Skyward Sword is not a nostalgia retread! I have much more but he really screwed up the review regarding the motion controls. Twice!

As someone pointed out above, the reviewer was totally wrong and misinformed about how health works in Infamous 2. That is actually a bad review, as opposed to MGS4 where you just differ in opinion.
